Evan is now saying that once the Clark commitment is publicized that will effectively end the recruitment of both Christopher and green

missing some context there arent you? From Evan: "If Terrence Clarke lands at Kentucky, and I think they are the leader, and if he reclassifies, which is likely, then I think it would effectively end the Wildcats recruitments of Josh Christopher and Jalen Green. "

"if he relcassifies" this wont be known for another year.

But Green and Christopher want to make their decisions relatively soon, right? That could pus them elsewhere, even before Clarke 100% classifies.

This is tough. I like the idea of Clarke coming early.. a guy who knows he wants to be here. But a 2-for-1? Shewww.. this is tough.

I understand what you are saying but you don't pass, or tell a recruit like Clarke, told hold his commitment, even if that means you possibly miss on Christopher/Green duo. You let those chips fall where they may and still try to recruit them to join a super team.

If Clarke wants to sign now, you personally drive to his house and hand deliver the pen for him to sign the papers.. (probably a recruiting violation though if a player uses a school's pen, lol)

Even if he does commit and state he wants to reclassify can he sign in the early period (November 2019) or will he have to hold off until he actually has the credits to reclass? If not Cal can't talk about him and we really won't know anything for sure until next summer. Am I wrong?

You're acting like Cal can just pick who he wants. That hasn't been the case since the 2014 season or so.

Yeah I generally agree. I've been one of the first to adopt the "take whoever wants it first" line of thinking. And it does seem that Green could very realisticall play overseas, so this 2-for-1 might not matter.

And in the event they do choose to go elsewhere, then we can move on immediately.. Cal can adjust and focus elsewhere for PG or another wing... instead of a certain recruit waiting until nearly June only for him to tell us he'd rather go to a nobody westcoast school.

Actually, that's EXACTLY what he's doing..

He picked Boston from your school.
He grabbed Fletcher early.
He was about to make an early package deal until he found out Green might just go overseas.
And now he just got Clarke commit to us a year early.

He's literally picking 1 guy over 2 because the momentum is all in his corner.

#1 class in September.. hows it feel?

Looks like Christopher has dropped by the wayside so don't look for either green or Christopher

Who said we would get either? We have had several done deals that never end up at Kentucky.

I couldn’t agree more. Personally I think Green is the best if the three, however there is a chance that Green
A)goes overseas
B)doesn’t necessarily pair up with Christopher in college...wanting to play together doesn’t mean players end up doing so
C)Green or Christopher could choose Another school

My point is you 1000% take Clarke now, especially if he wants to commit this early and regardless if he wants or is able to reclassify. You never turn down too 5 talent...EVER. If it’s costs us Green and/or Christopher that sucks but so be it.
BOSTON
CLARKE
FLETCHER
Now put 100% effort into Todd or Brown or Brown and get omi, Ware, or a reclass(maybe unlikely) in Askew or whoever wants to come.
It’s a great start to this class!!! Great time to be a UK FAN!!

LOL he has landed Fox , Bam , Monk , Herro , Murray , Skal ( who was a top 5 recruit though not in reality) SGA , PJ all lotto picks since then ( bam might of missed it by 1 -2 picks ) so I think he is was doing pretty pretty good . He is the best recruiting in the world . Has been , will be until he retires . Duke literally 1 class really better then us ( not in ranking in reality ) and people act like it has been since 2014 for example . So funny how preception distorts reality. Cal lands at least one top 5 player every year IN REALITY as if BJ and Fletcher's drop in rankings has shown anything you can't pay attention to rankings as the second they committed to UK they dropped.

Which Top 5 player(s) overall, recruiting-wise, did he land since 2014. List them by year. Cal hasn't landed the best of the best in years. The 2020 class appears to be no different.

My school is UK. I don't worship the feet of any UK coach, the school comes first. Boston is ranked 9th overall. Fletcher is ranked #36. Clarke hasn't committed anywhere. Oops.

LOL get used to playing second fiddle to Kentucky again. Honestly, duke has always been a second rate program, compared to UK, and always will be. At the end of the day, duke has had one good run with only one coach.

Coach K is bigger than the duke program. No coach will ever be bigger than the UK program. There's your difference. By the way, you're terrible.

This right here! If the media tells people enough times that the sky is pink, they'll believe it. People can't/don't think for themselves anymore. They allow the media to do their thinking for them.

How the heck do you know Cal didn’t get who he wanted??? Do you think Everyone he’s got has been bums? I’m pretty sure he’s missed on a few players, but he’s also got some of the best players in the country!!

I do not have the energy to debate fan-hood and deal with people who, because they do not agree with you, want to label you a troll or a fan of another team. Are you twelve?
