He's not wrong. Memphis had a poor start to their season (they were riddled with injuries), but they have won 9 of their last 10 games.
Yeah but they have barely played anyone wi the a pulse. We shall see if they can beat Houston again. They haven’t even reached 20 wins. 9 losses in that conference and they lost to Georgia!

He just tries but I don't hate him. Some of his notable phrases that elicit eye-rolls (and I paraphrase):

He's as versatile as baking soda.

Chinese food defense: good at first, but quickly leaving you hungry for more.

Absolutely. Florida player clearly backing up as Grady is in the air. Clear undercut and a dangerous play. Grady came down hard.
Don’t remember much of what CK said yesterday but do remember this play. His contention was that florida player just held his ground while Grady went over the top of him. You are correct, he backed up and slid under Grady plain as day. Funny thing was Kellogg’s comment came as we were all watching the replay together.

You act like it’s some irrational take to say that Johnny Davis has a case for NPOY, which is all Kellogg. Not that he should be, but that he has a “case” lol.
To be honest, I don’t think Johnny Davis has any sort of reasonable claim to the player of the year race. What Oscar is doing hasn’t been done in 40+ years—what Davis is doing is admirable, but his numbers don’t present anything extraordinary as compared to any other player of the year race year in year out.

Players in contention for AA or player of the year put up Davis-like numbers every year. Again, what he’s done is admirable and deserving of recognition, but what Oscar is doing is on a different level.

His Memphis take was legit. I can tell you right now they will put them close to us because of the Cal angle and we won’t be too happy about it. They remind me of the 2014 cats only deeper

Both he and his son played for Ohio State. Didn't we knock his son out of the NCAAs with the Brandon Knight team?

Its like Ol' Faithful, whenever UK plays a game someone will post about how the announcers hate UK and root against them. I only hope a lot of those people aren't that paranoid in real life thinking everyone is against and just out to get them.
And if you read the post fully you’d know I normally don’t feel this way about commentators. But paranoia…yeah that’s it, not the decades worth of games he’s commentated that’s made me feel this way. Right.
