MSU women just won an outright SEC Title and not a peep on social media from our state’s “news”paper. Something that MSU has done a handful of times in all sports, something OleMiss hasn’t done in any sport since color television, and they don’t mention it.

Looking at their twitter, they’re impressed with OleMiss baseball coming from behind against Long Beach State and losing a close one to Arkansas in basketball, but not a damned word about State winning a freakin championship (much less a top 5 win in baseball).

Not a freaking word.

Please, guys, for the love of all that is decent in the world, cancel your subscription, unfollow them on social media, let them die. Do it today. Please.

Are you kidding? My wife was so upset after the Dudy Noble Statue Ceremony debacle, she cancelled our subscription. She never believed the bias, but after the last few incidents, that one with the editor actually allowing “Ole Miss” to be the school associated with Clark and Palmeiro and on top of that having the Ole Miss Pitcher in a large picture right next to the article, she had enough. Because Jorka is dumb enough to Stay on with that fish wrap, any consideration that he may actually have talent goes out the window.

not really. I agree. I don't read anything from Clarion Ledger. don't miss it. It's a trash media outlet. Horka seems to be a nice guy. just went to work for the wrong people. I refuse to give them any clicks to their webpage or buy the paper. maybe 20 years ago they were a bigger deal and would have been a loss to not read, but there is so much coverage now it's not a loss at all. So many live tweet. Games are on tv. More sports media groups. I don't have to read to know what happened.

He's a good kid making his way up the ladder in his profession. I'm pretty sure he has gathered that we hate his employer, but as for Horka himself, I feel like he's diligently doing his best.

Sling blade and kaiser blade are two different utensils in my experience. Hated using either.

I follow Horka on the twitters because he is good about giving timely score updates, but I have not looked at that toilet paper they call news or been on their site in years.

Agree. Kaiser blade is for heavier brush, small saplings. Swing blade just for heavy grass and weeds. And they look totally different. Swing blade sometimes called a sling blade. Wikipedia seems to think they're the same thing but they're not.
