So Vikings Carson Wentz is having surgery and will be done for the season. The only other QB on the roster is an undrafted rookie. I am hoping they snag CJ from the Lions Practice Squad as they need a capable backup to JJ and it would be great for CJ to get a chance with an offensive line that can hold up and allow him to shine. O'Connell's offense could be good for him.

They should have resign-signed Darnold and kept Jones then traded one of these guys to get compensation to help in the draft. But they are Minnesota.

nobody wanted Jones.

Vikings went all in on a rookie QB salary. Hasn’t worked but 2026 is the year they are targeting.

Would love to CJ come back but I think it’s over. He made some pretty good money in the league

He is still making money on the practice squad and I would think he is still much better than an undrafted rookie that I had never even heard of.
