Actually I have a higher chance of hitting the lottery. lol
You're not really that stupid are you? I sure hope not for your sake and the sake of those who rely on you

LOL , dude I’m not going to argue with some idiot that gets on message boards just to mess with people. Go get your kicks elsewhere fool .You're not really that stupid are you? I sure hope not for your sake and the sake of those who rely on you
I took that as him being facetious because of Stokes being from Kentucky & Kansas is predicted to get him. We’re not seriously comparing KU, Duke, and UNC’s recruiting to Pope’s, are we? Because we can, but it’s down right embarrassing![]()
I think Tyler Hansbrough is from Missouri & Kentucky did recruit him (Tubby) best i remember, he was a Kentucky lean until the NC visit. I think Ole Roy took him fishing & he said it felt more like family there & committed.I cannot remember a kid we actually went after full bore from that state and from early on, much less anyone really interested in either Duke or UNoCollege. Didn't even recruit Tyler Hansbrough. You can tell who's going to pick Duke by looking at em. Haven't been wrong once yet, without bothering to follow Duke recruiting at all.
You 100% don't get the one you don't go after. Not even going all out tells everyone you aren't THE program. So saying it's a waste of time is really really weak
In recruiting, be it sports, corporate or military, the phrase "call them all" holds truth. Contact them, let 'em know what's in it for them and how both parties may benefit by establishing a relationship. That’s a cute sayin. Not very practical in a LOT of situations. I spend every dollar I have on the lottery. Cause, “don’t want to miss my shot “.
Maybe we make him a monster offer. Who knows. Probably right. He’s a kid from North Carolina being recruited by Duke and North Carolina. Total waste of time here .
EJ Montgomery was going to Duke until they landed Zion out of nowhere. I believe EJ committed to us a week after Zion chose elsewhere.Knox I think came to UK simply because Duke filled up. He took the opportunity for touches at UK.
EJ Montgomery is another one if I recall. He was a Duke lean but he had a weird few visits where he didnt mesh well with their team at all.
Pope misses most, if not all, the shots he takes."You miss 100% of the shots you don't take."
Sincerely,
Wayne Gretzky
I can confirm. TH is from Poplar Bluff, MO. He was definitely recruited by OTS. I actually have one of the letters he received from OTS during his recruitment. Dated a girl he was friends with. She thought it would be cool to get me. He was definitely a UK lean. Then he took his UNC visit and it all went downhill from there.I think Tyler Hansbrough is from Missouri & Kentucky did recruit him (Tubby) best i remember, he was a Kentucky lean until the NC visit. I think Ole Roy took him fishing & he said it felt more like family there & committed.
You’ll see . But I’m not going to waste any more time on something that is NEVER going to happen.lolIn recruiting, be it sports, corporate or military, the phrase "call them all" holds truth. Not saying the player signs, but rather he/she is aware of interest.
By the way, Rob Dillingham, Davion Mintz, Bam Adebayo, John Wall all send their best.

This is exactly right. Always amused at people that act like they know more than anyone but show their ignorance whenever they open their mouths.I think Tyler Hansbrough is from Missouri & Kentucky did recruit him (Tubby) best i remember, he was a Kentucky lean until the NC visit. I think Ole Roy took him fishing & he said it felt more like family there & committed.
John Wall came from North CarolinaI cannot EVER remember us getting a kid that Duke recruited hard and really wanted. Even Pitino couldn't pull them from Duke ... back that far.
Done already. John WallHell will freeze before we get an elite player from NC over Duke and NC Cheat .

You're 100% right about Chris Lofton, however, Tubby recruited Tyler Hansbrough hard, in fact, he took his 2nd to last visit to UK, then took his last visit to North Carolina & committed.Tubby may have "recruited" him like he "recruited" the other kids that grew up UK fans and wanted to come here. He didn't call, or he didn't try hard, or once he found out they were interested they never heard from him again. One from Maysville comes to mind pretty quickly as well.
Also the pitch that you will never have to attend a class and we will ignore all rules by flying your mom all over the country on the UNC dime.I think Tyler Hansbrough is from Missouri & Kentucky did recruit him (Tubby) best i remember, he was a Kentucky lean until the NC visit. I think Ole Roy took him fishing & he said it felt more like family there & committed.
Lofton falls under hindsight is 20/20. Kentucky signed Rondo, Crawford, Morris, and Bradley in that class. Lofton was ranked #126 in the class according to 247. https://247sports.com/player/chris-lofton-67303/high-school-118358/. While Lofton exploded having a great career for Tennessee Bradley was still solid for UK. Bradley actually had a better senior year at UK than Lofton did for UT. Bradley posted 15.9 ppg 3.4 assists 4.2 rebs 1.6 steals vs. 15.5 ppg 1.8 assists 2.4 rebounds 1.3 steals for Lofton. You're 100% right about Chris Lofton, however, Tubby recruited Tyler Hansbrough hard, in fact, he took his 2nd to last visit to UK, then took his last visit to North Carolina & committed.
This is the answer. UK had gotten commitments from Rondo, Crawford and Bradley. Crawford was the higher ranked 2 guard. Maybe #1. Lofton wasn't very highly ranked, if I remember correctly. Of course, Lofton had a spectacular college career at UT, but everyone was not singing the blues at the beginning of their college careers. Tubby in this case, made the right call at the time.Lofton falls under hindsight is 20/20. Kentucky signed Rondo, Crawford, Morris, and Bradley in that class.
