Nice play by Leggett at 3rd to start the double play.

It's very nice to see that.

I really don’t understand playing Logan Tanner at first. It really speaks volumes if your starting catcher is the second best defensive option at first, especially when the backup is the DH.

I think you answered your own question. We just don’t have many good options there right now, and LT needed a day off behind the plate so it was Hancock’s turn to catch. I am a little surprised that Clark is DH’ing rather than playing first.

C’mon big man, you can still be an integral part of this season’s destiny, your season starts over tonight.

He looks like a skyscraper crane, tipping over from an earthquake.

Imagine if he actually threw the baseball WHILE he squashed the bug? As is, he just pulls the ball down through gravity at 94 mph.

Cerantola’s breaking ball was great. He reallyyyy struggles to locate that belt to chest high fastball though, he either misses 2-3 feet arm side, or spikes it. He’s gotta be able to locate that spot to really take the next step. If he can locate the fastball up, his curve becomes so much more effective. Last batter in the bottom of the 4th, he finally hit the chest high fastball spot, and got the K swinging. If he can locate the high FB, and work his curve from there, he will be absolute hell out of the pen for opposing lineups down the stretch.

Logan Tanner will be a first rounder in the 2022 draft. He is just now starting to really figure things out at the plate, in the last month he has really taken the next step. You see him picking up offspeed pitches and putting good swings on them, he has been jumping on fastballs, his mentality at the plate is great, aggressive but controlled. He obviously has big league power at the plate and will only get stronger there. Defensively, he is MLB ready, OBVIOUSLY. If he continues to improve with the bat, and really takes the next step next year, sky is the limit for him as far as draft projection goes.
