Going to the Memorial Service today. The family asked that everyone wear UK/blue.

Bev, I will be thinking of you and praying for you today and Cindy's family and all her friends as well. As I am sure everyone on here who had pleasure of talking UK basketball with her will as well.
May have to ensure your computer has all the updates. Also if you are using Internet Explorer or Google Chrome switch from one to the other or another web browser like Firefox. May also have to clear your web cookies in the web browser you are using. I clicked several of the links and they worked using my computer and now my cell phone. I hope it works for you.
Thanks for the kind words but I was being selfish. I really enjoy this site and many posters. Even some I don't agree with. I thought of CD and several here as friends and still do.
I honestly would have thought this site would have did that 1000 dollars in a day or two. CDs sister was nice to converse with via email. 3 x's what they asked for is needed. I cannot go further as to why but I know you know BK. Thanks again... (I did try and enlist a great do-gooder on this site. I hope that works too but haven't heard either way. I do know, he knows.)

Just got home from the service
I was struck by how few came, but then realized most of Cindy’s life was lived online due to her health issues.
My heart hurts for her family...especially her two boys. They’re going to need all the prayers we can give them.
I told her older son about this thread and he says that he was going to check it out. He’s a good young man and while the circumstances could EAD, it was a pleasure to meet him and his lovely girlfriend and sweet little boy.
I didn’t get to talk to Cindy’s younger son other than saying hello...he was understandably withdrawn.
I’m so very glad I went. But man oh man ..

Bless you and your family BK. You did what was right. (It takes a whole lot to do that most of the time.) We all have our crosses to bear in some form or another. All lives are different but God is in control if you let him be. He never moves, it is us who does the moving.
On a more bright note I think the donations are moving some. It seems at least the family is close. That helps. I sure would like to see their bill paid though. That can be a hard situation to overcome.

The thing too is, CD's sister asked for a third of what they actually need. That cut at my heart. I have it in writing too. I gave and am probably going to again soon. ( I am judging no one as we all have our crosses to bear. I am really just bumping this hoping.)
