In fact, Gunner Kiel is now third on their depth chart. Found this interesting tidbit about Gunner, which says something about how recruiting rankings out of high school don't always predict collegiate success:

"Kiel, a Notre Dame transfer from Columbus, Indiana, was rated by several scouting services as the No. 1 prep quarterback in America while a senior in high school."
