While the Cardinals' fans are actively revolting and staying away to demand better management, Reds fans are being called 'loyal' for accepting 20th place while the front office puts out a 'terrible team' for decades. You're essentially praising the fans for subsidizing mediocrity while other fanbases are holding their teams accountable. The only reason the Reds are 'right behind' the Cardinals is because St. Louis just had its worst attendance season in 30 years. Being 20th isn't an achievement when you're only keeping pace with a franchise in total freefall. Historically, the Cardinals were consistently Top 3 in MLB; the fact that they fell to 19th is an anomaly, not a standard for the Reds to be proud of.

I didn’t think of it that way. So you think the reason the team sucks for so long is because the fans keep showing up?

I agree. He’s more flash than he is substance. Makes a ton of errors, and strikes out way too much. His hair is ridiculous also.

Pitching has been so bad. Burns is the real deal but Lodolo is struggling hard after his injury. Abbott is starting to come along. Lowder is showing potential. But outside those guys we probably have the worst relievers in baseball. Need to get Greene back and trade for a bullpen guy. Missing Eugenio from the lineup as well. Teams don’t have to pitch to Sal.

Reds are finished. Terrible hitting. Bad bullpen. Greene can’t stay healthy. They sign Suarez, and he can’t stay on the field. Starting pitching has been awful the last 3 weeks.

Another lost season.

I'll take the win. I've never liked the Phillies....such trash *** fans. Chase Burns is absolutely elite.

Dare we dream of an afternoon win today and take the series? Abbott has been improving.....Nola hasn't been great this year

I’d like to know if the Reds lead all of baseball in blown leads in the 7th inning or later? The pen has been terrible!

And why are they letting Hayes play every day? Put Sal there!
