Cincinnati Game Thread

This team pisses me off. Play uninspired against teams like USF and Tulane, and come to play against top 10 quality teams on the road.

The way this team is playing today and the way we know they are capable of playing,we probably shouldn’t have lost but 1-2 games in OOC.

Cronin should have been tossed. Twice.

Missed calls like that happen in EVERY game EVERY night. Refs anticipate the foul is coming because of the strength of the move. It’s Ok that Cronin argues it and is unhappy, but his antics are tired. Haith does that and he’s in the locker room for the rest of the game

I never expected to be up at the half on Cincy on the road. Considering the opponent and the injury to Taplin that was the best half of basketball we’ve played all year.

Again, the extreme focus because of the circumstances is great...why isn’t that preparedness, focus, and energy there EVERY game? His is the frustrating part of this team.

Great 1st half by TU, especially without Taplin! Still, we’re only up 3. I hate Cincinnati, but they have a very good team this year.

Winning 6 games in a row has built confidence in our team. Let’s hope we can keep it going against a Cincy team that is getting yelled at right now.

You are correct. The foul should have been called on #13. If they do that and tell Cronin it wasn’t on the block but the off man reaching, he probably doesn’t get a T. The call and then the foul on the wrong # is the reason coaches get pissed

well it is 7 in a row now so maybe they have figured it out.

They can fix that. But the deal is Cronin so stupid that it doesn’t matter. Dood has something wrong with him. There isn’t a more disgusting person in college sports. Watch him closely some time. He’s always saying something horrible or doing something bizarre.

Corey gets fouled, no call. Same play on other end and they get an “and 1.” We are fouled every time we have the ball in paint.

And run offense, no need to jack up shots or drive while double teamed
