Better version of Bo.

Wins big games or at least keeps them reasonably close and doesn't **** talk the fans & administration.

His extension is over 8.3 mil per year, he’d need to be offered 10-12 per to leave, plus his buyout
TBH, I can’t imagine the wins he’d rack up going to a Clemson or FSU… with a weakish ACC lineup

That is probably not a bad comparison...

What he is doing is crazy. I am starting to wonder if he sold his soul to the devil.
He has never had a losing season in 16 years, Probably interviews poorly, seems like he might have a little bit of autism(not joking).
He could get 15 million a year and honestly, it would be worth it.
I hope Indiana pays him, and they build into a great power. Tired of the big dogs being bailed out by big donors.

Dude and his staff way better than what Nebraska has.
It is not even close!

Plus, even though Husker fans would hate him because of his interviews, shout out to Husker fans needing a coach that wants to give them handjobs, but like he just doesn't seem to care about who they are playing or where they are playing. And he team seems to feed off of that.

The difference "at this time" is last year Indiana went into OSU and got rolled, then they got rolled again in the playoffs by ND. They weren't ready to take on a top opponent on the road or a team that could really run the ball. This year, they went to a really tough place to play, Iowa and squeaked out a win, then today they go to Eugene and beat an ultra-talent Oregon team that puts a lot of pressure on all the teams they play.

Today NU made a large leap forward, 3 INT's including a Pick 6, had the lead, lost it, regained it, lost it again, and finally beat what is probably a pretty good Maryland team on the road. So the progress is beginning to show, but NU still have steps they need to take to get into that upper elite 4-5 teams in the conference.

In the seasonal W/L record area, this game today which was kind of a toss up as the first road game, kind of replaces the given we had all had 2 weeks ago for the automatic win at UCLA that doesn't look so automatic now.

In a bizzare way, I wanted this game to end in a tie and have to go to overtime. NU could have exorcised 4 big progression challenges in one game.

Did any of you notice who hit the 58 yard FG at the end of the first half?

I have noticed in his interviews this year he is a little more cautious on what he says . I think the undressing that Saban gave him on National TV last year sunk in a little.

He’ll be gone to another school after this season and the kids that transfer with him will kill Indiana

I’m not sure about that. He will get paid to stay and be matched by anyone else. Indiana has a good donor base. And if he gets Indiana to championship game. That may be the best coaching accomplishment ever in CFB.

I don’t think Indiana would match a 10 million dollar offer from Florida.

I need to see how the rest of the season shakes out. Indiana feasted on the poor last year (That included Nebraska, sadly). But when you look at their numbers against quality teams, production didn't dip - it fell off a cliff (Well, until garbage time when Cig would usually sneak in some points).

I still think what he's managed to do regardless is impressive. But I'm not ready to truly buy into the hype until I see how he finishes this season. Yes, beating Oregon at home is huge. But we don't know what this Oregon team really is yet. Maybe he is the next guy at Alabama or Penn State. Maybe his squad completely buckles again late in the season. It'll be fun to find out either way.

To be fair. It’s pretty easy to avoid **** talking the fans when you’ve done as well as he has. 99.999% of the fan base loves him right now. Based on how much of a prick the guy seems to be… if things start going poorly (someday) I fully expect him to go full Bo on those fans and admin. But he will probably get hired away before than.

I badly wanted Duke football to hire him if Mike Elko left for A&M (which he eventually did but not before wasting a week of hiring time). By then, it was too late and Indiana had him on lockdown. Their AD made a great hire.

What if the New York Jets offered him 25 million for six years and told him they didn’t think he could get the job done?
