Chrome Red Helmets

These IMO were bad *** alternates and as far as red chrome should go. Too much and it's just too tacky.
In my opinion the red helmet with those jerseys and pants would have looked better.
Some alternates, but not....
I have a hard time enjoying that...

Tbh, the idea and design might have worked well in our own colors. A white jersey and big scarlet N, with a black number. Color layout from our alternate on the away except we'd need scarlet pantsSome alternates, but not....

Lol... yea Just think when Bill Jennings left Nebraska in 1961 and changed the helmets from red ones with a strip to white helmets with no strip before he was fired..
Who knows if that wouldn’t have happened we may have looked similar to Alabama throughout our history.

I was going to post this. With red pants these are very clean. Love the chrome facemask on the classic helmets.

I love your regular helmets a lot (like I love ours) and it's going to take a lot to improve them....makes an alternate helmet quite the challenge. I'm totally into uni's and can't think of a way to improve your helmet...nothing I've seen so far from the alt versions is good enough.Herky follow along.

I think we should tell the league we’re wearing throwbacks and come out in tear-away jerseys.
This years was throw back uniforms from the 1997 team not alternate uniforms like the previous years.

Black Jerseys Thin Red And White Lines, White Pants Black and Red lines Or Logo, White Or Chrome Helmets with Chrome Mask and Black and Red (thin white lines) N Huskers Logo. Shoes Can Be Black with thin red and white lines or logos.

Huskers won't do it...but some school will eventually do a twitter thing where you can submit your helmet idea...they will narrow it down to 4 options and let the fans vote. It will be freaking cool
