Yet one of them started and I believe the other one also was a PT starter until passed up.
Yeah he was probably our worst starter. We also have a potential pro prospect at left tackle and the rest of the line gets a year better. I'm not saying we're much better but we're probably not 'worse' like you said.

Watch PSU's OL for the two years prior to this one and I'm pretty sure I can be believed
Yeah, but your QB was a statue for those 2 years. Not saying our OL is going to be tremendously better--hell, it can't get worse. Maybe we will get shredded by the B1G East powers again. Maybe we will not. Think a lot of our problems, besides OL, resided with our OC.
Assign a percentage to what improved your offense last year:
McSorley
OL
Moorhead

I say- 40%, 20%, 40%

SCT1111 Do you really think that PSU has only had one good year? And you say some kids want to be a part of the rebuilding process . Are you referring to Rutgers? If you said build I would understand but rebuild would imply that Rutgers was relevant or good at one point .

GSGS- What is your obsession with PSU? 90% of your posts mention PSU. Everyone associated with PSU is a cult member and/or a pedophile. Do you really believe that or are you just upset with how bad your team is. It was a tragic situation that happened at PSU but to say that everyone associated with them supports pedophiles is ignorant. It would be like saying every Catholic supports pedophiles. Just dumb.

As for Bleich, if he flips to RU or anywhere else, good luck to the kid. Really not going to make a difference in the end result .

Not true, it is cult member and/or pedophile supporter. That's just the way it is. Just consider it payback for PSUers, including JoePa, acting holier than thou for so many years, including that fraudulent "Success with Honor" mantra even though all those arrests were occurring in the decade prior to the Sandusky scandal.

Word is that he could flip to Rutgers and Penn State would still beat Rutgers by at least 4 TDs.

Not sure why PSU Twitter folks are all over him as him flipping would mean absolutely nothing to the future of Penn State football.
Man, your really just being a jerkoff with those comments. Damn, I thought you were an OK poster and we've had our differences, but in actuality your just a dick. You and Cheeseprick Vegas really need to find another team to harass.

I think you could actually be worse next year. I'm not flaming at you and I apologize for being a bit of a doosh but Flood has solidified your roster for years to come and Ash...despite the possibility of being a good coach...has to deal with the lack of wins that Flood left behind for him.

I don't follow the ins and outs of every team in college football but I would have to think that what Kyle Flood did to your program very well could be unprecedented.

kjb - Sadly, that might be true about Flood. I do think that we can turn things around a little quicker than you suggest, but there's no argument that Flood was anything other than a complete and total disaster that set the program back considerably.

Anyone else notice how mild mannered PSU fans were in our house and on this board a couple of years ago when we had them beat and had a better year than they did? Now they have a great year and are a bunch of dickheads again. F off douchebags.

That should tell you a lot about a person and the school. If you have to work in a group and a Dbag like that shows up your in trouble. He or she could have taken the high road and showed general respect for everyone. Learning point, you should never hire a person from that school. I made the mistake twice, thinking it was just a one time event. Big mistake on my part.

Or maybe Anthony Davis?

It's silly how PSU has one good year and suddenly their fans think their program is Alabama. Chill out. Some kids want to be part of rebuilding a program. Some have pride in their State U and some have family connections. Not every kid thinks PSU is holy ground like their fans do.

Rutgers will be fine. We'll be a middle of the pack Big Ten team in another year or two like we were in 2014. Money and facilities will come.

I was thinking the exact same thing, so I congratulate you for doing it. KJB states if he chooses RU, it means he doesn't want to compete. What an idiotic comment.

LOL.

You didn't beat Penn State. Ifs and Buts were Candy and Nuts it'd be Christmas all year long.

Pretty sure what I said was probably 100% accurate. The games haven't been played so we will have to see but let's be real here.

Every time a recruit flips from Ped State to another school, Joe Ped gnashes his teeth in Dante's Seventh Circle. That's why I like this thread.

WE AREN'T

Shouldn't be too much longer before he has some company when his buddy Jerry visits him in Hell.

I always laugh when guys defend kjb. He is a total douche always. It is an act if he says anything that is not a douche comment. Don't ever be fooled. And he is not very knowledgeable which makes him even more painful.

Word is that Franklin and the cult members are very upset with this kid taking visits ...

Really kjb? GSGS's initial comments weren't anything to get all worked up about unless "cult" is a trigger for you in which case you can't be on these boards.

Unlike some, I actually enjoy when reasonable posters come to our board and contribute (even PSU posters). Your responses in this thread, on the other hand, will eventually get you banned (or at least a time-out) and that would be fine with me if this is how you're going to carry yourself going forward.

Maybe your "nice guy" persona was an act. You seemed like an OK fan, but WTF is your problem? Good luck with your "success" without honor. Disgusting program that makes many college football fans sick. 409 will never remove the stain of your program.

Thank you, DJ Spanky! kjb was due to be shown the door and I was hoping it would happen. -My other hope, in this instance, is that said door DID hit him in the *** on the way out!

Funny exchange in the comments. Guess PSU's engineering and math departments do not do will in getting grants? Some folks in Crappy Valley are delusional:

Ultimately the school's athletic dept budget is picking up the tab for these visits. That translates to potentially higher ticket prices, higher buyins to be able to purchase tickets, etc. I'm not in favor of athletes doing this. My son was top student when he graduated HS and had several full ride scholarship offers, but we had to pay for his trips to see schools and for me to accompany him. This seems like giving athlete's benefit not given to regular students. In general I hate promoting the whole idea in today's society that you grab for all the "free" stuff you can get. Send the wrong message to our kids and society in general.

@psumike How much $$ does the math dept. or the engineer dept. bring to the university? Except maybe a few grants - nothing, nada, no $$. The football program brings in millions and supports other programs (sports). The $$ for visits comes from the football budget - they are using their own $$.

They get grants but keep in mind grants are not unrestricted funds. If you get a $100 million grant to research widgets you can not use that money to pay for visits for students or build a classroom.

Yeah, psumike was really out in left field with that comment (and so was the guy wiht the reply), but I kind of see his point. It's not just PSU, it is society in general that puts a higher value on athletics than academics. Aside from the funds being restricted, why shouldn't Universities be allowed to use funds to pay for top academic prospects to visit the campus? Why aren't their Rivals, 247 and Scout websites that rank academic all stars? Because its boring and nerdy.

Sheesh.

He retweeted that.

Could that PSU fan be any dooshier?

One great season and the Happy Valley cult members are trying to make decisions for Franklin and the team.

Memo to Bleich, you are wanted at Rutgers and wouldn't get that treatment here.
