We had a thread earlier on this big OT from PA. Current PSU commit with an uncle who played at Rutgers. Chatter increased over the past month or so about a flip to RU. Yesterday Chris posts a picture of himself in an RU helmet and jersey. Could the flip be coming? At the very least, it's gotta rub Franklin the wrong way .

Why would I want to edit my post? You gave the impression he was flipping to RU. His Twitter page has a pinned tweet announcing his offer to Nebraska. Seems that was he is promoting at the moment.

Maybe @huskersalways can shed some light here.

He's just playing the game they all do. Posting all their offers on Twitter. He also has a pic of himself in a UConn uniform immediately under that. He's showing off his offers but there's no indication he's flipping. I wouldn't read too much into it.

Why would I want to edit my post? You gave the impression he was flipping to RU. His Twitter page has a pinned tweet announcing his offer to Nebraska. Seems that was he is promoting at the moment.

I copied his Twitter page and have no idea about what pinning is on Twitter. The important takeaway to me was him physically wearing Rutgers gear as a PSU commit (maybe the Rutgers picture was pinned earlier on his page). There was a PSU poster back on the original post who seemed to indicate he was straying away from PSU. Feel free to keep the Husker pictures up Knight Shift..That was my mistake to link it that way. As for the UConn Jersey picture Chuck, that is photo shopped. Him being at RU, slipping a Rutgers helmet and jersey on, having an uncle who played here, and a PSU Fan indicating he is thinking of decommitting from PSU are all signs that increase Rutgers odds of landing him IMO. I know the recruiting game is challenging and frustrating for us Rutgers fans, but these are all positive signs.

I know nothing about the kid, but that doesn't mean anything either. What I do know is March 1 & 2 were offer days and especially offensive lineman and East coast guys. There were 2 other O-line offers out East at the same time and a lot of different position groups offered as well, including 2019 guys.

I wouldn't get to worked up about NU being a threat with him. NU seems to offer a lot of kids to gauge interest and there has been nothing written about him by the NU mods after the offer which usually means the player just said he got the offer but has no interest. The Mods do an interview and post it right after the offer if the kid wants to/is going to visit. It may change over time but usually it doesn't. An offer to a prospect is also only good after they have been on campus or have been to NU in the past for something. If they've never been there, the offer isn't commitable until they visit.

NU is taking a very small class this year. They are taking 2 tackles and 1 guard/center so i have no clue who their priority kids are either.

It will be interesting how long PSU puts up with his "touring" before saying either stop doing it or you no longer have an offer. I guess some of it would be determined by how big a class PSU is taking and need at position.

Beyond tweeting offers, he also visiting other schools, not just RU. There are a lot of indications he is a candidate to flip.

Those pix of Nebraska are awesome. If he flipped to someone other than us, I'm okay with it being the Huskers--their fans are awesome and their facilities are incredible.

He just a kid who seems to be enjoying the process who probably commuted way to early. He committed in April of his sophomore year which is crazy. He been posting things like the RU picture for awhile now. The day before he tweeted a UCONN picture. No one knows if he will flip or stay with Penn State. He just a perfect example of how rediculous the early recruiting has gotten.

No kidding. Flood was his OL coach. How many schools have the same OL coach they did in 2010? Point is there are multiple paths to the NFL besides commiting to the hottest team at that time.

If Rutgers is winless in two years in the Big Ten I'll eat my hat. This year was a disaster, worst year since 2001. I don't see it happening every year considering Ash already recruiting better then every single Flood class.

Rutgers will be fine, although I know it benefits PSU if we have years like we just did.

It's the expectation of this Rutgers program to be an annual bowl team and we were for 9/10 years. When I say we'll be fine I'm saying that's where we will return to.
