Bobby Petrino may be headed closer to the top of this list after the Louisville vist to Clemson this week. 39 point underdogs and Dabo is not against going all out against an inferior opponent.

Witness the 59-10 whipping he put on Willie Taggart at FSU last week.

I mean how bad is Willie Taggart? He has arguably the second best talent in the ACC and he is stinking up the joint. Knowing how crazy those people are in Florida I wouldn't be surprised if he is let go this year especially if they continue to spiral downward. The only thing that for sure will get him another year is if they beat Florida.

Not an FSU fan but their OL is terrible. Can’t run the ball and can’t protect the QB. Sounds like us, doesn’t it?

In the postgame presser after the Clemson game Willie said that some FSU players quit during the game and that changes will be made. He also said his team is mentally weak. Strong words from the HC. Of course he’s talking about players recruited by Jimbo Fisher, not his guys. Half the FSU fans left the stadium at halftime of the Clemson loss last week.

Since this is year 1 for Willie he is safe. But the AD that hired him is no longer at FSU so the honeymoon won’t last more than 2-3 seasons if things don’t get better.

Post Week 8 Coaches Hot Seat Rankings – Give These Hot Seat Coaches Hell Johnny Cash! – Johnny Cash: The Last Great American

We are deep into the 2018 college football season now and have a Helluva football game coming right at us this coming Saturday in Baton Rouge with the Alabama Crimson Tide playing the LSU Tigers and if you are thinking living in America is Great Fun you would be right!

Thank You Johnny!

Oh…you ever want to watch a great documentary on Johnny Cash you can’t go wrong with this one >

Johnny Cash: The Last Great American

Post Week 8 Coaches Hot Seat Rankings

1. Chris Ash, Rutgers – Rutgers had a bye in Week 8 and it’s a good thing because the Scarlet Knights are coming off 7 straight losses after opening up the season with a win over lowly Texas State and with these four games still on the schedule for a 1 – 7 team:

At Wisconsin
Michigan
Penn State
At Michigan State

Wisconsin looks Hardly Coached At All right now so maybe Rutgers can beat the Badgers in Madison, but we don’t think there’s a chance in Hell they can win any of those last three games so there’s at least a 50 – 50 chance that Rutgers head coach Chris Ash will finish his THIRD season with a record of…

1 – 11

….and in the four seasons before Ash took over at Rutgers in 2016 this football program under head coach Kyle Flood posted an overall record of…

27 – 24

Is there anyone on Earth that believes Rutgers is getting better or even holding level under Chris Ash?

No one we can see that Knows His or Her *** From the Side of a Barn!

Taggart got one season at Oregon.. improved their win total from the previous year.. but was likely fired for having a bootcamp-like preseason that hospitalized 3 players... left the team before their bowl game to go to FSU.

If he is it will cement how incompetent Hobbs and Barchi are and truly nobody at Rutgers cares.
Goodbye season ticket base and about 3 mill in revenue.

Hey CBS Sports! You can take my guy off your list. Program building takes time and Chris Ash is doing a great job!

Don’t you know.....Hobbs and Ash think it’s a 10 year build at RU. By 2020 our remaining Season ticketholder base will be the same as Temple. Hobbs is a smart AD.

the oline has been trash at fsu for a few years now. Fsu fans thought it would get better with a new coach. Nope it is worse.

He always seemed like a very odd hire. I watched a fair bit of their game with Clemson. His team reminds me of an Ash team with a lot more athletes.

10 year build or ASH’s 10 career win?

Seeing these salaries gives me hope that Ash will get fired at the end of this year.

Yes, $2.4 million per year is a lot of money. And, yes, he has several years left on his contract. But it is PEANUTS compared to what big time college football coaches are getting paid ... including our supposed "peers" in the B1G. Other schools spend more per year in head coaching salary than Rutgers would need to pay Ash to go away.

If we're going to compete in the B1G, then spending money on coaches is part of the deal. And if the administration is not prepared to do that, they never should have accepted the invitation to join the B1G.

Knights have only 8 seniors this year and 5 seniors next year. Flood recruits are few and far between. Can McNulty make Sit a good qb? Can "Ash take over the defense and play as they did vs Northwestern with more depth on D? Punter and kicker are good. Can there be hope for next season?

Did you mean to write “...our remaining season ticket holder...” and not “...season ticket holder base...”?Might only be one, you know!
