Would not be surprised to see a top school that has a coach on the hot seat going into 2016 go ahead and pull the trigger on the current coach and hire him. Would also not be surprised to see him sit a year and wait for schools to pull up the dumps trucks of cash to his front door.

Very surprising move. Even though Chip obviously made a lot of bad roster moves, Shady, DeSean, OL and had a very predictable offensive gameplan - or so I read. (Reports were that he ran the same 15 scripted plays all game) I am still surprised a owner like Lurie would got back on his decision (HC in three years and GM in 1) so quickly. Wow.
