That ain’t changing

there are three things that astonish me

1.) the complete lack of urgency off the guys when they do Not have the ball. They don’t cut or post like they mean it. Just sit there and watch

2.) the amount that the effect of the last shot going in or not has on taking the next shot. Paul , geo and Ron are most guilty of this

3.) the amount of in rhythm looks we pass up on, especially on the perimeter ...and then give up our advantage when we don’t shoot that shot for a lesser percentage shot

and this is from a team of mostly third and fourth year players

We have no cutters or motion off the ball.
WTF are we practicing.
We’re also a shell of the team defensively we used to be and physically beat people up

Something is amiss to be that out of sync running your offense
We get into these funks when we don’t make shots where everything starts to break down and we don’t execute. We are lacking leadership to steady the ship. Geo does it at times but he goes awol too much and it’s not just him. When things don’t click you have to double down on the basics and we did the opposite today.

I agree except for #3. If you aren’t feeling it you’re aren’t in rhythm. People say Paul should shoot more. He’s not that guy. Same with Montez. Our guys are not in rhythm. Because they don’t execute. That’s the issue imo.

When guys run into double teams, someone is running free, we have no clue how to find him
