China gives in on Auto tariffs

Would be great news. Let's see if it happens or just the same China talk. They also signaled they would continue to support their Made in China 2025 campaign, which has been the main sticking point all along.
They also seem to be reaching out to Mexico, Canada, Japan and others. It sure would be nice if we were in some sort of Trans Pacific Partnership with trading partners that could be used to turn up the pressure on China.

If that's what it takes, sure. He doesn't seem the least bit interested though. Maybe Larry Kudlow can talk him in to it?

I'd give him most, if not all, credit. That said, China has promised all of this before.
Except, China has potentially given in and he didn’t have to do ****. Shortest trade war in the history of mankind. The Don is to Trade what Norman Schwarzkopf was to Desert Storm. Might want to watch some news there skippy.

Actually it is fair trade if you want to trade in the US market. Without US market, China's strong economy comes tumbling. US would hurt until there is an adjustment. Without the fair trade that Trump is pushing, US continues to be financed with China loans. Bad deal in long run, IMO.
