D does suck. A good % of the fault is on Frost. I would also say this is the first year under Frost that the D appears to be weaker than the O.

The GS offense and QB were going to score every series anyway. So Chins may have just as well gone man and sent the house every play. The Cornhusker defense might still have gotten shredded, but we could have beat their QB up physically and made him much less sure of himself in a big stadium with over 85,000 people on a night game on national TV. As it was, we gave him and their whole team confidence.
