Update - Tucker says football is keeping the checkerboards
“Finally” being the operative word. How it took seven years to finally make that change is beyond me. I don’t think anybody but Mitch ever liked them from the start.

Now that the checkerboard pattern is gone we can finally move on and ***** about something else that’s far more important. Like the font used for KENTUCKY, the length of the shorts, the shade of blue, the stitching around the neck opening. Stuff like that!

It actually happens quite fast. It’s not some arduous task that takes time. It’s a fast process. So yeah that’s how it works unless your switching brands and sponsors. So when you point the finger at the forum 4 are pointed right back at yeah.
About damn time. Football uniforms are fine. The basketball ones are an absolute joke. Especially for a program with our pedigree.
The 14 Jerseys and the Rondo era jerseys are some of my favorites. I'd like to keep the outline of the state on the back w the 120 if at all possible though.Wasn't arched in those uniforms

we got new uniforms midway through the season in 2010,2015 and 2016. Even got some sweet alts in 2012 and 2014. Remember the grey jerseys in 2012 and the chrome letter jerseys from the Baylor game?

I’ve said it before but the throwback unis we wore when Rondo was here we’re absolutely awesome.
Absolutely. I think those may’ve been my favorite uniforms we ever wore here, a really classic sleek look.
I remember at the time hoping that we’d stick with those as a long-term look. But instead we dumped them after only about a half a season ..yet we kept the cheesy checkerboards for like seven straight years. Makes no sense.
We need to keep them as our ''look'' kind of like how UNC, IU, DUKE, and UCLA do it.
