My wife and I will be there this weekend on the way to Virginia, can you recommend a restaurant and maybe something to see there?

I ate at Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse earlier this week. Very nice meal. But quite expensive. My work picked up my tab thankfully. Steaks are almost $100 each. So you’re not getting out of there very easily for less than $150 per person.

NASCAR Hall if Fame is here. And I’ve spent time at the US National Whitewater Center. Easy way to experience real Whitewater rafting on a man made course. But if you’ve ever really gone whitewater rafting, you lose the scenic experience, which is a lot of the enjoyment of the real thing. Lots of zip lining and such there also. I’m not an expert on Charlotte though. Just visit a couple times a year on business.

Voted vest seafood for 5 straight years. Unreal oyster selection flown in daily. My favorite spot to go to in downtown charlotte by far

Sophia’s for pre-dinner drinks which is downtown.
Lots of cool pubs and restaurants in Southend
RH Rooftop in SouthPark for dinner
Dogwood Southern Table in SouthPark
I’d stay in the SouthPark area.
