Charlotte catholic appears to be down this year and over multiple years. Know it is tough having three head coaches in a short time span can be a contributing factor but even brodowicz coming back hasn't changed much. Any other in site into additional reasons the program may be going through a down swing? Recent administration issues? Feeder program at holy trinity also down?

Other local privates started prioritizing recruiting football players in the last 4-5 years is my guess.

Charlotte Catholic’s decline may be about more than coaching turnover. The program went from five state championships under Mike Brodowicz to consecutive seasons of 9-4, 9-3, and 7-5 under two different coaches. The school also dealt with reported bullying incidents and player transfers, while administrative controversies created additional challenges. Catholic also moved from 3A to 4A and now competes in 6A, facing a different level of depth and competition. The next thing I'd examine is roster size, returning starters, transfers and how many Holy Trinity players are actually moving up to Catholic.

A real answer is preferred. I am also not impressed by the other private schools this year either.
I Gave a real answer. More than one private school recruiting in chlt is a big deal. Also….regular public’s recruit/group up and “transfer “ often now too….so that old advantage they had vs public’s is gone too.

There was never recruiting. I should know, I was there in 2004 and knew the program in a very real way to the early 2010s. That is why I was looking for a credible answer and was given one in pizzaman. Not speculation based on fiction and sour grapes from 2004 to 2020.

Well…I wasn’t there but have known several guys that didn’t even live in Charlotte that WERE recruited to go there and didn’t.
yiu think that rb from Gastonia or that lineman from Weddington, acitelli (also to app state) weren’t recruits? Just a couple examples. How is that for fiction? Lmao. In 04 were you in the stands cheerleading with the other frat bros or were you inside the program?

I was on the team, played with acitelli and got the ring with him. He and I came up and started playing football in the holy trinity system. His mother was a teacher at charlotte catholic. I already know you are incorrect just based on that statement alone. The frat boy comment also shows your bitterness in being beaten by, according to maxpreps, the best nc program of the 2010s without recruiting. Only an incredible feeder program and boys who believed in it. Disappointed in the program now but already received a real answer. Hope to see more.

I just lured you out to determine your real intent. I have no bitterness. I did know people recruited there…as many people do.
seems you don’t like the truth: a private school playing public schools with all the advantages being equaled out isn’t boding well for CC these days?
never should have been allowed to play publics in conf. And playoffs back then or now, even though the playing field has now leveled for some public schools

Things can change with any programs. Some programs and fans think their are invincible.Take College programs like Florida State that use to be so good from the 80s,90s,and the 2000s and Alabama not as good as they use to be. And now days some of the pubic Schools can recruit and other programs are not allowed to get transfers. Right now it looks like thing have change not only the football program, but i have heard things that has happen inside the School.

And there you go lying again and your bitterness comes out with non-biarding parochial schools being legitimate members of the nchsaa and beating them pretty nicely from the 2000s to 2020. I am getting legitimate answers besides the lies you spew. Make sure to day frat boy, rich boy, private like it matters. Hoping the situation at catholic corrects in good time, which doesn't include the fake recruiting you talk about and the fake acitelli example, so we can get back to dominance. 90s were another down decade in catholic football history but we recovered nicely then too, thanks to holy trinity.

We were down in the 90s. Came to dominance in the following decades thanks to holy trinity, not fake recruiting. Wanted to know current issues so can be corrected in good order.

Lies?
normal public schools (previously and sorta still) accept their students from local communities.
Nobody from lake Norman, Weddington, Gastonia and rock hill all go to play for any one same public high school.
The only thing close to the imbalance of CC playing in public school leagues is the BS state mandated stuff they allowed to happen recently where teams like Dudley and West Charlotte got to play in lower classifications during playoffs.
say…. How come y’all were scared to play in private leagues for all those years? Those privates generally sucked til the last 6-7 years.
bitter? I am a sp fan genius. Nothing to be bitter about.
