...that you can be a TV analyst and a homer at the same time and pull it off. He owns it and doesn’t pretend to be anything else. I respect that.

On the other hand, Bilas and Jay Williams pretend to be unbiased but they can’t hide it.

The difference is glaring.

I've always liked Sir Charles. He is what he is and he's not ashamed of it. He calls it like he see's it and isn't a fake...unlike many others.

I still remember his first game at Rupp Arena. It was like, who is this guy?

The two aforementioned Dukies suffer from a fatal flaw: they take themselves too seriously.

Barkley is loveable because he doesn't take himself so seriously.

The Dukies act like they are so smart, while Barkley acts like a goof ball most of the time.

And the funniest thing is, he is probably smarter (basketball and common sense wise anyways) than those two Dukies put together.

If the Auburn team playing tonight and UT game shows up against UNC, the Heels are going down.

When Auburn is hitting shots and not turning ball over they are one of best teams in the country.

They have severe Jekyll and Hyde syndrome.

I don't think CB takes himself serious, that's why he can pull it off snd is fun to watch!

Bobby Knight couldn’t stand Charles Barkley’s personality and cut him from the 1984 Olympic team. During breaks in practice, while everyone else was gasping, the “out of shape” Barkley was playing Horse with the ball boys.

That told me all I ever needed to know about Knight’s “brilliance” and how small of a man Knight was/is.

Well, in our instance I'd rather have Auburn because we've played them twice and more recently. Also, for some odd reason I think we defend teams we know are going to shoot a lot of 3's pretty well.

100% Auburn if we don't have PJ....that is a given.

Spot on but UK is going to burst their bubble in the EE...hope Sir Charles will own that as well.

I like Barkley as well as anybody that covers college basketball. I remember the battles we had against him when he played at Auburn. Damn he was a load inside. I remember we beat them in a nail biter, might have been in the SEC tournament, and Charles laid on the court beating his fist on the floor. Guy played his *** off and gave it everything he had.
