Yep. He is throwing meat for sure. Most catchers pike a 88 mph fastball right down the middle and then have time to run back there and catch..... err watch it fly over the RF fence.

Now if you want him out because he couldn’t hit a beach ball with a bass fiddle, I can support that reasoning.

You would think a catcher would not swing at low pitches when he has been squatting in front of an uno who isn’t calling low strikes.

Skelton is an offensive liability as much or more than a defensive liability. Hope we have someone coming in next year that can fill that void. Skelton needs to be shown the door. Apparently Gilbert does too. Since he doesn’t crack the lineup anymore.

Skelton set up too far inside on the close 2-2 call. Small missed his glove plate side and it still wasn’t that close.
