IMHO he had no choice
if he would have been smart he would have hit the portal when it was open
he had no plans on returning to CBB
that is my opinion

i would have no problem if he were told "thanks but no thanks"
i also have no problem with him returning

I’m starting to get excited too but we aren’t counting our chickens before they hatch are we? What exactly was said? I wasn’t watching or listening to wherever it was being talked about. How good did it sound ?

I hope you're right, but duke got smoked by UT early in the tournament when the heat got turned up.
For freshmen to do what Cal is trying to do, they all have to be exceptional. There won't be any cohesiveness for most of the season and with the culture Cal has created (individual goals and accomplishments), it's just not going to work.
Now, if you told me we were getting the 2009-2015 version of Cal, well, that's a different conversation, but the Cal we have now, is a head case that can’t get out of his own way.
I also don't see a bigtime center on this roster, even if Somto comes, we won't have a hoss down low and I don't think I need to remind you of how Cal plays offense. He’s going to force feed the post and it doesn’t matter.if that post player goes 0-20, Cal will keep going to him.
He would rather lose games than go a different direction.
I would get Reeves back, get a couple more good guards, spread the floor and give Edwards the ball when the chips are down. No more clogging the lane with aircraft carriers and shooting long two's.

No more good guards would come here if Reeves returns.That makes 4 and maybe Joey Hart the fifth but that's it.

Yeah, it's not like UK fans have any reason to be negative about anything. Everything has been great. Eye roll.

We have had the carrot dangled out in front of us every year. We all flew that Cal flag for a long time, but he has more than given enough reasons for us true fans to make Cal show us that he is back.

We have fallen for all this same fake positive news every year and we have had the rug ripped out from under us over and over and over.

Cal has changed, he is not the same guy that went to all those final 4's, this Cal refuses to adapt and would rather force that square peg into the round hole just to hope he can stick his tongue out at us fans. Well, it's the fans that get to stick their tongues out until Cal gets his head out of his ***.
Prove us wrong, Cal.

Our when you and others take passive shots at people and don’t listen to what we say. We repeat what the people with actual info say, we never act like it’s our info or that we know anything
