He is projected to go in the 20s of the 1st round according to a few mock drafts. If I was him, I would want to come back, get healthy, and show NBA scouts that I am worth a lottery pick next season.

He HAS to go. Too much risk in coming back. I just hope it works out for him. Hopefully he can stay healthy and cash in after his rookie contract. I wish the best for all of our guys, but Harry is a little different. He has had such rough luck and I just want like hell for him to prove his doubters wrong.

That overrated chant in the dean dome still pisses me off.

The big question is...does anyone on here currently attend Duke and is he going to class? If he's still going to class then there's your answer.

Ha, yeah that would answer it. Although he may still want the college credit for later. I imagine Harry is the kind of guy who will end up with a degree some way.

It would be a horrible decision if he stayed.. if he plays at Duke next year and isn't significantly more productive or if he got injured, he would never get drafted.. right now he can leave and be a 1st round pick.

I think Harry has stopped going to class in all likelihood. He was having dinner Thursday nite at a restaurant in his hometown, which to me is a fairly good indicator he's shut it down this year in the classroom.

By the same token I think he's a quality kid and I do see him earning his degree one day. I think he's focused on the draft at this point. Would I love to be wrong??? Oh HECK YEAH!

Yeah, sounds like he's going to take a small contract and try and secure a nice re-up.

Zero percent, great kid though and hope he has a long career in the NBA and comes back frequently to Duke.

Schools can be penalized if a player leaves school early without credits equal for his time spent there......Not a Duke fan (but see a lot of Duke BB), but Giles doesn't seem like
someone who would opt to pull a Ben Simmons. (or a D Orton)

Well Kyrie also was going to class during his last semester Freshman year. So I wouldn't say that's a sure indicator.

If you promised not to throw every game and score in the wrong basket if we played UK, I wish you were him.

Did anyone notice in the announcement of Jayson, that the official Duke tweet included a picture of him and Giles. Does anyone think that's an accident?

Giles is gone, gone, gone. Happy to have had him, hope he stays healthy and makes a name for himself in the NBA.

That was Harry's announcement too! Haha. He's going to the league strictly to high five Jayson when he scores.

IMO there are two problems with Harry cominggg back. The first one is a chance of reinjury. The second is that he will not ever be the player he was before the injuries. Harry seems to be a great kid so if the second is true it does not make sense ofr him to risk millions of dollars if he is a first round pick
