Straight up Ted Kaczynski/Ed Kemper vibes when he started talking whatever psychology, grounding himself and meshing stuff together. Add in his fake nice guy persona and you start to get a lot of traits of a killer. PSU is going for the black out on the bingo card for characters in that room.
He is most likely a sociopath or has sociopathic tendencies. But, to be fair, that doesn’t mean he would have any interest in killing someone.

Many sociopaths, or those that at least have some tendencies, are VERY successful people. They are often incredibly driven and don’t see barriers like most of us do. As long as he has the right people in his life I am sure he will do very well.

With that said, when he speaks and HOW he speaks, can be very cringeworthy. I am all for loving God, but you need to be very careful when mixing it that hard with Psychology. It becomes very easy at that point to twist it into whatever you think benefits you the most.

Ever heard of sports? Fans have been smack talking since day one

It's not the smack talk. It all the posts on social media where the PSU fans insert themselves into posts that have nothing to do with PSU, or anyone affiliated with PSU and just straight up be ******** for no reason. It's not a post here or there its every wrestling post on the internet has some PSU fan that doesn't even understand wrestling just being a dick for no reason.

I must say - it does not seem to be an act with Sparks. I think the guy genuinely loves broadcasting wrestling. Kessinich seems like he’d rather be calling the NCAA croquet super-regional or something.
Agree about Sparks. He can be over the top occasionally, but I think it is genuine and not an act.

And honestly, I wouldn't blame Kessinich for feeling that way. In my view he is asked to perform a rather awkward task. Some (many?) of his questions are asinine, but I gotta believe he is trying to mix it up and not ask the same questions of every guy. But probably around 85% of those interviews are terrible and something we could all do without. Same applies for the quickie two-question halftime interviews we see more and more of in football and basketball (both pro and college).

How so?

I worked with one once who f‘d me up professionally, so I know a little about them. They are over-represented in prisons and corporate management. I don’t see it, here, though.

Mitchell was acting like a ***** in his match against the nc kid
Mitchell likes to act like some nice, respectful, Jesus loving guy but when things don’t go his way his true self starts to show. Doesn’t happen often cause of how good he is but every time things don’t go his way his true self starts to show. Dudes an absolute beast but he is a weird *** dude and if anyone in college wrestling ever turned into a serial killer he would be at the top of the list. I don’t blame Mikey for not shaking his hand; he sees through the fake bullsh!t.

He did indeed. 10 seed to a title and he was go, go, go. Impressive as hell.

As for the takedown, I don't think a referee should be thinking about challenges, if you see the criteria for a takedown you reward it when you think it happens cause it can change in a heartbeat. But I get your point as well, that's why it's tough as hell being a referee in any sport. (sort of like the HWT. match where I thought it was a 3-2 sequence for Bastida and Trumble, but nope, only 3 for Trumble which I think was ultimately the right call, so they got that one right, but in the moment it was tough). Didn't realize Trumble was such a beast. Tough S.O.B.
I completely agree, but it's the timing of the calls that can be better. It doesn't do any good calling it early and the refs need to be aware of it. Valencia was in position to snag the TD, it doesn't hurt anything to wait a few more seconds to see if he can fully secure it (especially considering there was plenty of time on the clock). Worst case a scramble happens at which point they can always go back and look at that exact moment too. That would be more warranted than how it played it, imo.

It's just being aware of the moment, which most of these refs are not. We're looking at you ANGEL!!!

I hadn't seen this. Antrell Taylor threw his straps at Landon Robideau after losing in the finals. Back story is that when Taylor beat Robideau earlier in the season Taylor pointed to the mat and said something like "this is my mat" to Landon and then again to OSU coaches. Last night Robideau did the same thing to Taylor after beating him. So Taylor threw his straps at him.

I'm no OSU fan but Antrell has always been a sh*t talking loudmouth IMO, glad to see he got some of his own medicine and not surprised at all that the guy who likes to talk garbage when he wins can't take it when he loses and acts like a child.

He also spent both matches fleeing the mat, or stalling all match until the last minute of the finals.
