Some players practice well, and some need to put there feet firmly in The Dude and smell the barbecue coming from the lounge and say, I will conquer the world. Coach L has no way of knowing who that guy is He is starting with a new thread of players. His old leaders are gone. He has to find out who leads when they say ‘play ball.’ Some of the practice players have to be weeded out. The hitters will show up.

Dawgs fans, he will figure this out. We will finish strong. We will not folder like a powder blue semi-warrior and be done with our season in May. Hail State!

Um. Lemonis the only coach to meet the standard. So it's fair to say he set the championship standard. Every other coach before him just set a standard to make Omaha.
He could lose bad this year and next and still be okay. It would take like five years in a row missing Omaha to likely get on the hot seat after winning it all
