This used to be tough ticket to get. Lots of unsold tickets lots of upper some middle and a few lower. And lots of scalpers trying to sale tickets on ticketmaster.

I don't think it's the economy as much as it is the ticket prices and the saturation of sports on Television. My family has had lower arena season tickets since the 70's. I turned them over to my sons because if i can watch it on tv it's hard to convince myself to go to the game. Same with our football tickets

Actually thinking about going. It’s nice to watch live events in Indiana if nothing else because you can bet live while you’re at the game. If you see a degenerate with his iPad and phone out the whole game, come say hello.

Yep. As much money as programs make from TV Deals these days….there shouldn’t be a ticket in the house more than $50 for most games (other than courtside and boxes)….for Uppers should be $10-25 depending on how much the matchup is….this is across all sports.

They are making their money elsewhere anyways. If you want fans in the stands and to keep up w the improving TV experience and ease of access…then you have to make it financially make sense to travel and go

Those lowers have always been super high in past years plus sucks it’s on a Tuesday night I’d have to miss at least day and half’s work plus travel, maybe hotel. Yeah I’ll chill at the house cheer with a beer in hand.

I hear you. So tired of our politicians with their head in the sand on the gambling issue. No reason casino and sports betting shouldn’t be legal in this state. I don’t need them to be the morality police or whatever excuse they use for not taking the steps necessary to make it legal.

Sorry for the political rant…Anyways, I booked a room at Caesar’s to watch the game. I don’t bet UK games as a rule but I’ll be playing whatever other games look interesting.

I received free tickets to the classic during the 38-1 season and got to watch kansas fans cry as UK stole their soul. Believe Kansas was the only one of the 4 teams that didn't make the final 4 that year. I loved it

Thanks for this. Hadn’t looked at tickets, but when I saw this I checked it out. My dad and son were already headed down so now I’m joining them.

Sitting by myself but only $45.

5 hour trip, no problem, can’t wait.
