No matter if TU gets in, I am square on the Miami (OH) bandwagon. I want to see them go far unless they play TU.

Just move the league winner to the championship series, best 2 out of three against the bracket winner. Still get a tournament. More like women's softball.

That grey court for the B-12 championship is ugly.
It’s an LED glass court. It can be whatever color they want it to be and can change on the fly. Pretty amazing what it can do. No idea why they are currently using the ugly gray setting

Does the floor turn red with 10 seconds on the shot clock? I used to remember the old clocks that would turn red the last minute of the game. 1950's

They ought to do it the colors of the schools on each side, and switch them at half. The half court line, arc for the three pt line , etc are not painted on & just done with lights?

Correct. It’s a huge LED glass floor. The floor itself has no base color or lines. First time used in the US. Has been used in Europe for the past few years

It's also pebbled glass which is supposed to be better on the traction and it has built in cushioning so it's supposed to be better on the knees and ankles. Some players have complained that the floor is giving them headaches. I suppose they're using the gray because it's not wood grain and it's neutral.

Probably only one that matters: Florida Atlantic vs Temple.
Do we want fau to beat temple and Tulane to beat memphis? Memphis or fau could be tough in a one and done chance for them to stay alive in search of a bid.

I was talking to some people about it today and the consensus was that it was grey so the Phillips 66 logo would stand out more. I just turned on the McNeese State game a little before halftime and they’re leading SFA 42to 25 at the half. They have one guy that score 25 points in the first half, the team only has 5 assists so he must be creating his own shots. Tyshawn Archie has 7 points in the half. I’m looking forward to seeing the second half.

Ultimately the NBA will switch to these floors and they will sell ads that can be rotated meaning they can sell more add space (like the LED board sections in the NHL rinks and what you see a lot in Euro soccer).

The big conferences are glad they lost early. They need the (12-15) teams in the tournament.
There absolutely needs to be a rule that if you don't finish .500 in your conference then you aren't eligible for an at-large. Who the hell cares that you played 15 Q1 games and won5 of them when you lose 10. Plus those teams always lose some dog games too but all anyone focuses in is 5 Q1 wins because it pushes their narrative. It's garbage. Might as well let the AP choose the field because we know they're only looking at W/L record
