Why?

Because there are 3 excellent teams in Big12 and they won. There are two solid teams and one of them won. The rest of the Big12 is garbage. Those 7 teams proved today that there is little chance of success in the NCAAs.

But yet they are suppose to make the tourney.

IMO only 5 will make it to the NCAA's (Kansas, Baylor, WVU, Iowa St, Kansas State. The other 2 will be NIT (Texas Tech and TCU).
