Too bad they pussed out on Michigan. Time for them to join a conference. Or be kept out. The P2's coming!

No 8-5 Michigan, but how about Indiana? The team that beat Nebraska 56-7. Does that work?

Both teams have glaring weaknesses. PSU has abysmal WRs. They have like 0 catches against OSU and ND. ND is going to get their QB killed because that’s not a championship OL.

Great game, though. If OSU takes care of Texas I think ND will be entirely overmatched by the Bucks

Was listening to the radio out of State College earlier this morning. Host was saying at least Penn State would be spared the indignity of losing to Ohio State again. Positive way to look at things lol

Maybe this is a good result and Ohio State just destroys them like the last championship game the Domers were in. That would make me happy.

Anyone who runs the gauntlet of the playoffs deserves to be crowned.
Exactly. This is why this new 12-team Playoff represents a more true NC than the old 1 or 2 game systems or better yet, the old Poll NC of decades gone by

Nebraska was a 6 win team. You aren’t making a good argument with this. Do better

Did you read the nonsense I replied to? "time to join a conference, terrible schedule, blah, blah...."

ND beat the same number of B10 teams with a winning record as PSU did this year.

I don’t really care. Do Domer fans feel the need to be vindicated coming on a Nebraska board. You Domers are an insecure bunch

Yeah, you do need to join a conference. Or not. P2 train will be rolling out of the station soon whether you are on it or not. And yes, Notre Dame pussed out on the Michigan rivalry. You guys and your hand-picked schedule... GTFO

This is why NOBODY in CF can stand those "holier than thou" a-holes. Other conference schools just need to quit scheduling those eff-heads

I agree but champions don't lose twice during season either and that's who they'll play in the finals. It's an unfortunate situation we find ourselves in.
In the new era of college football you will see 2 lose national championships.

It’s the 3 loss teams that don’t win their CCG shouldn’t be in the playoffs.
That is why we don’t need a 16 team playoff.

Penn.St. ran the ball very well.Weak QB and WR play.Their NFL DE playing with 1 arm hurt the D.ND has a good QB can run and throw ,good receivers and a great TE,a good defense.ND will give either Texas or Ohio St. problems.Everyone seems to think Ohio St will beat Texas but I'm not sure about that.ND and Penn St. was a great game and I expect the same tonight with Texas and Ohio St.

You’re the one who brought up that USC was 2-0 against the SEC, not me. How do you extrapolate from that the implication that USC would win the SEC? My comment regarding ND being 4-0 against the B1G was in response to ND’s schedule being a bunch of academy teams.

Army and Navy are academy teams.

the B1G teams ND played in the regular season had a combined record of 7-17.

But yes, they beat their in-state little brother then scraped by the perpetual bridesmaid last night.

And your Irish are about to get pounded by the good half of the bracket. Maybe you can go talk about it with your kid diddling boyfriends who never stepped foot in a South Bend classroom, I’ll hold the door for you
