I think OP meant something in the coming days to honor and show appreciation for this team. They still had a heckuva season (record breaking), and deserve the recognition from the fans.
Maybe if the school won't organize something the fans could organize a pep/appreciation rally outside Wildcat Lodge or something just to say thank you. As much as we all are hurting as fans, I feel like they players have to be feeling it worse. Plus after the arrests after the game it might be good to show recruits win or lose we love our guys and are the best fan base in the country.
