All i know is that many of the opinions that were expressed there would not attract many young student athletes to the university or the fanbase. I tend to believe that GS himself might even get involved to cut off such a visible point of negativity and strife. I’m sure every school’s message board has such an element of this, but RU is trying to build something special.

this can only mean one thing... it's Time for the 10-15 main posters to all exchange numbers so we can start our own chat via text. Can you imagine the stuff that would be said?

You're a member. You're not a subscriber. "Subscriber" implies payment.

If it was costing money to have the CE board then it's a good decision. If it was shut down just because people didn't like the posts they read then it's a bad idea. If one doesn't like the board just don't click on it.

they dont, they do twitter and instagram, they dont read long winded posts that are political bickering

no and thats why its a really disappointing move by him because no heads up and following in line with typical mob think...ooh this looks bad it has to go....how about maybe a heads up, a pause and then a restart. Is that right...I was going to peg it at 17-18 years so around 2002-3. Wasn't it around the time of that one girl's protest at a high school basketball game or something like that, I seem to recall post-9/11 and the war in Afghanistan had started? Maybe it was late '01? Thread went on for multiple pages on the 2 or 3 generations ago message board platform and JohnO decided enough was enough and created the alternate board.
