The kids is a joke, he told on me because I asked him if was still breastfed by his mother?
Funny thing was it was only after he mocked my wife.
Sucks when a Rutgers Ce boards gets shut down from the Albany grad who pretends to go to law school
Good job fkr 100

Kid could dish it out but not take it. And whereas most of us shrug it off and realize it’s only message board banter, he got angry. He should seek some emotional help. I’m not even joking. I feel bad for anyone that gets that worked up over an online message board.

The fact he outted Zap on Twitter should have gotten him banned though. It’s an unspoken rule in here we don’t out people even if we know their identity. He violated that unspoken rule. Yeah Zappa is pretty clear with his identity but still. You don’t do that!

I was only on the ce board for a few months but I will miss it . I hate how some of you guys love trump so much but it’s all in good fun . I do the same thing with some of my buddies on group texts . It’s one of those things you love it and hate at the same time . Honestly if you can’t take some good natured ribbing you shouldn’t be on the board . I don t believe in turning people in and stuff like that because it’s a message board , if you don’t like it , don’t read it . I had some good natured back and forthwith with a number of trumpbots but I liked the debate and going back and forth even if I disagreed with 99 percent of what you said . With sports gone and a lot of interactions gone it’s how I got out some of my competitive juices . I will miss owning bushy Bill since we all know he doesn’t know Jack about sports and have never seen him post on any of the other boards .

its not so much we love Trump, its the daily meltdowns from the resistance that started from day 1 with the little things, because they gave no ground early, the Trump supporters started defending him strongly...then when accusations that would prove to be false eventually by the msm starting coming, we pushed back on some of the narratives, turns out we were right. Sure Trump has no morals and his repugnant. Thats not why i voted for him. His demeanor is not going to change. However he gets things done and he has exposed the msm for being corrupt and the far left agenda, i mean seriously some of things being pushed like defunding of police should make moderates like yourself scared, where is this heading to

we dug our heels in because there was a lot of nonsense being exposed from the left but unfortunately alot of insults and name callings like KKK and racist were all too common and just sad to see which created a really toxic atmosphere by the time the spring hit

but I will miss the back and forth with you, you were harmless and didnt really cross over the lines

I've never been on the CE board in my life. But judging by some of the comments on the regular boards, good riddance.

My question is, how bad must it have become, considering before he bought the site and stopped posting political posts here or on Twitter, Richie was a huge Trumper? Now he's going to face the wrath of the perpetually aggrieved right wingers anyway.

no and thats why its a really disappointing move by him because no heads up and following in line with typical mob think...ooh this looks bad it has to go....how about maybe a heads up, a pause and then a restart. Pulling the rug without any indication is pretty bad form by Richie here given that people have been posting there for over 20 years...

Sorry your feelings were hurt.

This site has a Rutgers connection and the posts reflect on Rutgers. There is a heightened sensitivity nationally (perhaps it's over sensitivity, but it's reality) to how student athletes (especially football and hoops) are responding to real world current events.

Connecting the dots, there was a particularly egregious BrotherSkinny post (with way too many replies); the board got deleted; and he is uncharacteristically silent.

Hopefully, he has other outlets where he can whine about his child support and alimony.

It wasn't RU Rivals Conservative board, not for a few years now, anyhow. According to RUfla's made-up analysis it was more liberal than conservative. The name calling and telling mommy had more to do with it shutting down than any political viewpoint.
No I agree with you but I mean the final straw in Jay contacting rivals saying that everyone is ravist.. Sad

I'm going to miss the always erudite and witty posts of NotinRhouse and mildone (and a few others), and their keen political insight and analysis. Most of the board I won't miss, particularly those few who posted 24/7, or string posted beginning at 4 a.m.
I appreciate the kind words.

But honestly, I have zero political insight. I don't watch ANY political or even general news shows on TV. Hell, I hardly ever watch TV unless it's sports. I mostly ignore all politicians until it gets close to time to vote and then do a bunch of due diligence prior to deciding whom to vote for.

My fondness for the CE board was more about relating to the CE board regulars and less about what's taking place in the political world in general. In short, I was just having a whole lot of fun stirring the shi... stuff. Arguing with the dysfunctional family.

My feeling about people saying things I don't agree with is that, if they aren't allowed to say them, then I won't have the opportunity to respond to them. Too many people exist in an echo-chamber of like-minded thought. I think that's a dangerous thing.

By provoking people to speak their minds freely, it gives me (and the rest of us) an opportunity to potentially provide some alternative ways of thinking about things they might not hear otherwise. And vice versa.

I have no illusions that I'm convincing anybody of anything immediately. And maybe not ever.

But I've found that, over time, some people who can be reached might reflect, perhaps subconsciously, on what's been said in different ways by different people. And they might ultimately shift their thinking some. And vice versa.

Take racism (please). If we suppress people from speaking racist thoughts; then all we'll ever accomplish is to drive those people to only ever share those thoughts with like-minded people. That approach doesn't make racism or racists go away. It just makes it more hidden, where it can fester in the dark. I think there has been too much of that. Covert racism is at least as bad as overt racism; and possibly worse.

My thinking is that it's better to bring it all out into the light where I can mock and taunt and troll and argue against it. And in that way, there's at least some hope that I might reach someone who will begin to see the great harm it causes our society.

Anyway, it's a theory.

CNN and Anonymous for you?
As discussed when you tried to belittle me before, I'm a physics guy that reads journals with a training from RU to also comprehend social and demographic statistics from your boy's own federal agencies (that usually contradict him) so I arrived somewhere different from you without the so-called MSM (or whatever bogey man label you give it).
Thanks for the recommendation though.

Yup..libs couldnt take opposing views or not being 100 percent lockstep

We see this all time...think exactly like me or we will put labels on you. The things many posters were called there were beyond the pale
Please do yourself a favor and stop already. Someone just saw the need to delete the board and you continue to behave like an idiot.

You literally weighed more than that. Not a smart course of convo.

Past tense. I’m roughly half him and a foot taller.
And I never lied about law school. Dude can barely put together a complete sentence.

Good news. Only fear is the poly-filth will spill over to every other board.
