You are nuts if you think a message board filled with people hiding behind a keyboard is constructive conversation that is going to change anything.
Whom said we are trying to change anything? We just like to Argue and that is alright, as American as apple pie. If Richie wants us to move our fun to this board than so be it.

I don't know about that- every time I see it used, it just seems lazy close minded and ignorant. If you have a problem with what someone says- have that discussion with them-and not just go with the name calling or polarization.
also... your example is very specific.. "If you have a problem with what someone says".. what about posts about ideas, trends, etc. You mentioned use of "conservatives" or "liberals".. what about "police"? Is that a label that does not seem "lazy closed-minded and ignorant"?

Just bought my 2020 Street and Smith‘s college football preview magazine.
I’m probably the only one.
But I’m reading that and already outraged!

I hope you didn't take me riding so hard, no matter what I'd have a beer with ya man, you're alight.
Nobody ever came close to being a problem for me. Compared to some other forums I have participated in, not to mention some life experiences, the CE board was totally soft and pleasant.

Like Bac said, it was like a big dysfunctional family arguing over dinner. Also, I love everyone. I’m way, way, way to flawed a person to be judging and hating on others in any serious way.

I will miss the trolling and counter-trolling.

the funny part is, I know for a fact Jay is banned because a bunch of the repug posters who love free speech all cried to the mods and reported him before he went on twitter. They love free speech but only when it is for them.

I don’t rat people out to mods but the kid did accuse me of supporting right wing terrorism because I laughed at a movie poster. He may have emotional problems he needs to address.

But why ruin it for everyone else? Just stop going on there or unsubscribe. That is all.

Getting it shutdown is the ultimate selfish, ****** move. Typical of that generation. (Proud young Gen Xer here)

The only one I ever reported was Cali once years ago when he repeatedly (many times) kept saying I enjoy being raped but serves crybabies right. Keep crying about Jay and wanting his free speech removed, and now you get that karma.

It is sad that people who didn’t like the forum couldn’t just avoid it and had to tear it down. Perhaps a new forum will spring up in it’s place.

Im not the one who cried. Kid can say whatever he wants. I don’t agree with him getting banned if he did. But don’t cry to Rivals. Take your timeout and come back in a week.

the other board has one, but the format is really clunky and apparently you cant see vip postings, its terrible to look at, i mean if they did moderate tough, it would be worth a look

I’m going to wait a bit and see what transpires. But I might spin something up at some point. I found the rhythms of the CE board meditative.

I’ll think of the CE board like the countless emails I have received from every single one of my schools, banks, businesses, online apps, food locations, etcetera. They took the time to pointlessly tell me that they are against racism.

DUH (Citibank for example) ...of course you should be against it and I don’t need you to waste my time telling me so; I assumed you were! You deal in money and everyone has some and you should be happy to get business from anyone...ta da!

Thats what the CE board was...unnecessary and a waste of time. Unlike all the emails, however, at least the CR board was entertaining so it served a purpose.!
