SF 48 Fenwick 18 or something very close for Soph/JV.

SF JV is a lot of FR and they looked pretty solid, which is good.

I watched the soph game and was encouraged that The Dons played well. Then the Varsity game started and a freshman QB led the Rice attack

Marist Soph beat up Prospect like 42-0.....Marist Freshman played Willowbrook....Does Marmion have no lower level teams??

**Update, Marmion does have a freshman team that Marist beat up, Willowbrook was a B game.**

Both teams really looking good as of late. They both have some size on the lines of scrimmages.

Granted Iggy Soph and Frosh teams are marginal - Iggy Frosh 1-4. Still good to see Rita Frosh bounce back from a bad loss to Loyoal Academy and show up vs DePaul and Iggy. Granted no games against MC, Rice and Marist Frosh teams doesn't give a great gauge on how the future fares. Still think Rita has best Frosh in Kelly.

MC Freshman team is "good". Definitely no where near as good as last years Freshman team who has 5 on Varsity now. Really good RB, good but not game changing WR's, line is also good but not dominating, Dowling is learning to be throwing QB, he was a RB most of his grade school career and he's been an excellent hard nose runner but he's learning the offense and working on making the throws. Like I said no X factor Burrell or Thorton type WR for him to go to. Zero doubt he will be as good as his brothers once Jordan starts training with him more.

Marist had a really good freshman team, they got a lot of real good athletes.

Joliet Catholic freshman beat Marian Catholic 26-12. Marian had some nice athletes. The Hilltoppers young fullback runs like Ricky Thayer.

I caught about 5-8 minutes of the beginning of the second half. I think I saw that fullback break a long run for a TD. He appeared to have a little bit of speed as well. I doubt if anybody ever accused Ricky of having some speed.
