The playoff picture is starting to take shape, and a few heavyweights have plenty on the line. Marist is fighting for its playoff life and gets a tough home test against IC Catholic. Over in Joliet, the JCA–Naz rivalry takes center stage again—these two have met four times in the past two seasons, including two state-title games that Naz won. Expect an electric atmosphere and plenty of October-style urgency across the league.

I will assume that based on your predictions that you think Fenwick will pull their starters in the 2nd half

I'd take Pat's with the points even though I'm a Rice guy. I think Rice doesn't want to get key starters banged up so I see them going up 28-0 and then gettiing in the reserves -- final 35-7. The IC at Marist game should be interesting. IC played well vs Naz. Marist lost again at home to frankly a decent but not great JC team. If Marist loses I see Fitz going total youth movement rest of way

My picks forthcoming but I think Marist has been favored every week. Wiseguys loving the market.

I hope MC does the same. They played Benet last year before BR and Elliott separated his shoulder with a big lead and couldn't play vs BR the next week

Pick 6 and a forced fumble on DT made it a closer game than it should’ve been in the first half hence Elliot getting snaps early in the third. Don’t think you’ll have that problem tonight…

Brother Rice, DePaul, St. Ignatius, IC Catholic, Nazareth, St. Francis and St. Laurence all covered the spread this week. That would give me seven wins.

PLEASE HOLD ALL TICKETS! RESULTS ARE NOT FINAL!!!!

Upon further review my jimmy dean breakfast links misses an entire column in the old copy and paste from week 4 so no one received credit for the last game SL vs LEO.

De LaSalle coveres as well

that gives me 1 win
De LaSalle +72

While I may not be the old guard, this thread has become a well respected, storied, Edgy tradition. I will honor your pick this week and add your results but I must ask that we keep some sense of decorum around here and respect the lines. haha

Again, thanks for the catch and my apologies all.
