JC’s skilled players are really good. The OL and DL are their weaknesses IMO. They’re gonna shock someone this year - who’s it going to be?

Not saying Rita is not the favorite, but giving 19 points? I'd be surprised if she covers that.

If Armbruster and the WR play 19 points definitely feels about right.

then SF needs to beat DePaul and Marian Catholic and then 1 of the 3 of Provi, IC, Naz to get to the playoffs. But I fully expect Franny to be 2-2 after this weekend.

When I was at MC, I don't think they went 0-4, but they did lose four in a row. During that stretch, they brought in Frank Maloney to turn things around. In '67, a year after I left, he led them to a win in the Prep Bowl, beating Dunbar before a crowd of 58,000 people.

They started the year 0-7 in 2016. Finished 1-8.

They aren't a bad team this year. They've just played a tough schedule and lost to better teams.
Yep that schedule is something else. GW and LT too good of openers with MC, Naz, PC, Marist, etc already on schedule. And then Fenwick is probably a better team than either GW or LT, so the schedule is just rough all around.

If they aren't in a softer division next year, then they will absolutely need to lighten the nonconference schedule. I know it won't happen, but I would love to see a division of JC-Benet-Montini-IC or something like that.

If they both play, then we shall see. To be honest, though, I believe LA beat SF by 19 points. I am not sure SR is at LA's level.

Again, we shall see. Just hoping no one gets hurt.

Disagree, the defensive line is excellent with 2 d-1 ends and a junior tackle that looks d-1 so far. The defensive backs struggled against Fenwick because of injuries and lack of depth.

Can I tease Montini down to +8 and double my money? Lost to Fenwick by 4 last year, and didn’t play all that great. Haven’t lost a game since. I wouldn’t guarantee a win because Fenwick is really good, but 18 just feels wild to me.

Marist lost two of there three games on the last play of the game. They are banged up and need to dig deep on this one. Hard to imagine one of these teams will be 0-4 tomorrow

From our friends at the Herald News: “By halftime of week one, we were down four defensive starters for the next few weeks,” Jaworski said. “We got three guys back now"

DeLaSalle through 4 games has been out scored 197 - 14

The only possibility of a win listed on this seasons schedule is going to be against Leo in week 6

Dang that's a rough spot to be in. Wondering how their lower level(s) are doing. Hoping they have the numbers and results on those - i know they lost 2-3 guys on hoops team too (best player Barnes went to Marist)
