***CC22 and the Fever mega thread***

Agree, I think Mitchells questions about staying with the Fever are based on salary and roster construction. She knows if they pay her, and maybe a bit more for Clark there's nothing left to do anything significant with this crappy roster.
She has indirectly, by attacking her fans. You cant be this obtuse.
I’m sure people here will reflect on Mitchell saying the hardest part of playing with Caitlin is her fans.
It's a regular season-based award. Reese has had a great playoff run and basically been a different player since the World Cup, which to this day is about as wildly random as 2024 Bishop Garrigan going from losing an evenly-matched game (emphasis on evenly matched) in their season opener to a decently athletic but undersized rival.....to looking like unstoppable physical monster world beaters against the best teams in 8 Man football by the end of the year, and just carrying that on for the next several years because "weight room"? Coaching? I mean sports aren't so simple when you're that athletically similar that it just takes the light bulb turning on that you become THAT much more physically imposing over the course of a couple of months and THAT much more superior athletically (faster, stronger, executing at a higher level, everything going your way and nothing your opponent can do themselves (training, coaching, lifting) can change that)...................
It's one of those things where you're like "No.....that's not how this is suppose to work."
That's what Angel Reese suddenly becoming this unstoppable dominant forward that could throw a ball off a player's face in the opposing team's locker room and it somehow perfectly find the hoop for a score (and she'd do it too if she could get away with it, and all her fans would lap it up and say that's that DAWG in her) has looked like over this past month and a half.
It's f***ing ridiculous.
But to get back to my point, Reese struggled for the first 2/3 of the season and looked like the player we've seen for the first several years of her career from college to the pros, while Miles had a historic rookie season leading the Lynx to the #1 seed.
WNBA old guard media, Angel, Aja, Olivia, and Paige fans and other anti-CC/anti-white people fans are punching air today, and making lots of excuses and downplaying CC making 1st team.
Don't worry too, I actually read what people are saying so you can take my word for it.
Nobody should be forced off social media because of mean things said on social media, just like players shouldn't become pariahs because of f***ing sh** said on social media.
It's about people taking the easy victimhood route and not being able to properly deal with the things people say about you............
By all means, try to kick them out if you think it'll help.
Telling them to go away hasn't worked out for them. Nor has directing their anger and resentment, then towards Caitlin Clark.
But I'm sure if Caitlin bends the knee and takes the mic and goes on a rant telling "these people" to go the f*** away, that that will solve all the problems. That's what her haters keep saying, so she should give it a try, amirite?!

You also never addressed my question when you said they can't build a team around her because of her attitude. Is it REALLY that, or is it the resentment toward her from her time at Iowa, and her time in the league, and all the accolades(all earned), and endorsement money. Isn't it really that they resent her making more in one season (off the court) than most of them will make in their lifetime. Isn't it really that resentment, way more then her "attitude" that's the issue. Is Clark really at fault that companies have latched on to her because she's brought them great success in marketing their brands.

I do know your whole schtick is telling people that Caitlin isn't as good as those people think she is, and sure, her winning a title or even multiple titles will never change your mind......but I won't give a f***. What's creepy is how when you get called out you back peddle or just don't respond. In post 17,394 YOU said " HER attitude is a direct impact on who the team is able to bring in". How can anyone take that, but you saying that her attitude is the biggest issue? That's crap. The resentment of Clark since even before she was drafted is clearly the reason. By the way, (on your never responding when youve been called out), What exactly does Clark get away with that no one else in the league does? We've been waiting for a few months for those pearls of wisdom. '
