She's not the only one to be T'd up for that

She didn't do that...she may have tried do, but that is not what she did.

Both parties were told to shut up and both parties continued to swear at each other so were both T'd up.

Paige got a T for that this year as well.

Other players have been T'd up for contact with a ref.
Wheres the list of stuff Clark gets away with???

Watch both videos:

Shocking four black women defending another of the thugs in the league. Mcnutt can't stand Clark and generally takes the anti Clark stance when conversations come up.Andrea Carter has been dissing Clark since her junior year in college when ever an opportunity arose. Nothing to see here...

The definition of flagrant foul 2 in the wnba has intentional in it. How much more do you need? Please respond to my point that she coached both of them plus Sheldon.

Here is how the WNBA rulebook spells out a Flagrant 2:

Section IV—Flagrant Foul

a. If contact committed against a player, with or without the ball, is interpreted to be unnecessary, a flagrant foul—penalty (1) will be assessed. A personal foul is charged to the offender, and a team foul is charged to the team.

PENALTY: (1) Two free throws shall be attempted, and the ball awarded to the offended team on either side of the court at the free throw line extended. (2) If the offended player is injured and unable to attempt their free throws, that player’s coach will select one of the remaining four players in the game to attempt the free throws. (3) The offended player’s coach will pick the substitute, who may not be replaced until the ball is legally touched by a player on the court (EXCEPTION: Rule 3, Section V, e). (4) The injured player may not return to the game (EXCEPTION: Rule 9, Section II, a(2)). (5) A player will be ejected if they commit two flagrant fouls in the same game.

b. If contact committed against a player, with or without the ball, is interpreted to be unnecessary and excessive, a flagrant foul—penalty 2 will be assessed. A personal foul is charged to the offender, and a team foul is charged to the team.

Some quotes from Ben Daniel:

"Kelly Krauskopf has restored hope"

Stephanie White "is one of the better WNBA coaches"

"No longer will have to watch 13-0 runs and wonder where the timeout is"

Kinda like how Jason Whitlock was pro-Caitlin going into the season, and then spent the first month or two of the season jumping on the anti-Caitlin bandwagon because it was more attention-grabbing to complain about her behavior with the officials.

He's since flip-flopped back after Caitlin was one of the few who didn't embarrass themselves at the All-Star game.

One minor correction. The rule states "Unnecessary and Excessive". Intent is more in the way of being Implied, however. In Carrington's situation, her past implies that there was indeed intent. :)

If there was a contest between Whitlock and Stephen A. Smith, I'd have to give Smith the edge in the Fence Jumping Competition!

There's a better chance Sophie this is Sophie's last season with the Fever than it is Steph White's

Will be interesting to see what the market holds for Sophie....she's making $665,000 this season...and has career highs in FG%, 3PT% and FT%...but there are obviously points of contention between her and many players...does CC go to bat for her and get the Fever to re-sign her? Does her value to them go up if Mitchell leaves and they struggle to find someone close to her value?

"Unnecessary" and "excessive" are the two key criteria of a flagrant 2. Intentional is no where in the definition.

I'm not sure what point you're making. Everyone knew she coached Thomas, Carrington, and Bonner before the Fever hired her. Are suggesting that White's past relationship with these players is preventing her from calling their behavior out?

Because everyone here praised her based on the way she tried to defuse the Connecticut/Indiana drama during Caitlin‘s rookie season when she was actually coaching Thomas, Carrington, and Bonner.

Also White did not coach Sheldon so that's another swing and a miss for you.

The Fever also (or at least did) see players like her and Lexie Hull as revenue-generating team mascots.

I'm sure the Fever's appetite for more Sophie will be determined by how she finishes the year. She's been great offensively for much of the season but has put up three straight stinkers. If she doesn't snap out of this funk I wouldn't be surprised if they let her walk.

The CC aspect will be interesting, I think it's pretty obvious she is annoyed and tired of the off court circus she has to deal with. So I don't think she was thrilled to have to answer questions about Sophie's trans athletes comments.

Who gives a ****? Did Jordan or Magic ever get away with anything? Or you and your job?
?????. Do you actually read through these forums? A certain "legendary" poster has regaled us for a couple of days that Clark "gets away with lots of stuff" that other WNBA players don't. Others would like to know just what this supposed list is.

Legend only in your own mind
He's relying on old news. This wasn't too long after Sides was replaced, and we were all hoping for our great "White" hope to save us. Over time, we all said:

Enlightening Elizabeth Olsen GIF by First We Feast
And then, our hopes were dashed. :)

She can get away with hitting the stanchion, oh wait, that was Paige. She can get away with kicking the ball up to herself, oh wait, she got a T for that. She can get away with saying “scoreboard”, oh wait, she got a T for that. She can get away with pushing someone away from her who was coming after her, oh wait, she got a T for that. She got away with clapping, oh wait, that was every other player in the league- Clark got a T for that. She got away with being pushed into an official, oh wait, she got a T for that while another player grabbed a referee and tried to move her out of the way and got away with it. And finally, she got away with a take foul, oh wait, that was called a flagrant on her. Yeah, she gets away with a lot, just never in a WNBA game.
@ legend, nu2u, bigZ, wdmns. Hope you guys are taking your meds because the facts in this post may push you over the edge.

His main issue with CC is her constant whining to officials - and he's not wrong with that take.

If they called the game fairly she wouldn't have to...but instead they let her get assaulted constantly with nothing called
If you are going to try and make the argument that CC has not been whining about officiating since the moment she took the Carver floor you have not been paying attention. She is a multi-generational great player, but her on court behavior towards referees is pretty childish. I love her "red ***" approach to the game itself, however.

If you are going to try and make the argument that CC complains too much, you haven't been paying attention to basketball of any kind outside of Fever games. If you want to see childish behavior, watch college coaches.. or any NBA game.. or any other WNBA game. The fact the line in the sand for CC has moved to her on-court "antics" is hilarious.

About as shocking as the stance of 90% of the posters on here regarding any issue arising around Caitlin Clark. It's turned in to a political discussion. Give me a poster and a situation and I could tell you pretty much exactly where they stand on it.

I only watch Fever games, so I have no idea if other players have been this demonstrative to refs - but I would think this deserved a technical

Well if you watched the Fever's last game you should of saw this, N Cloud making fun of official and dropping F bomb.

This is as demonstrative as it gets.

What do you think would of happened to CC?

Will Carrington try that against one of the new players that declared for the WNBA draft?

Highlights of who Coach White stuck up for on the HARD foul (wink, wink) against Sophie.

Why is she still playing?

Draymond Green got suspended indefinitely (12 games) after his 3rd assault foul.
