It's the Lynx and everyone else right now.

If the Fever ever decide to defend and rebound for the full 40 minutes, they might have something to say about that.
Lynx seemed shaken by the Fever's defensive effort in the second, they took Miles out of the game for most of the second half. But because the Lynx are so stacked, they have equally as good playmakers. The Fever only have CC and Mitchell. Lynx also have better post players.

Rebounding killed the Fever

Yep.

Check this out:

Both teams shot 57% overall

Fever shot 46% from three
; MN? 44%

Both teams shot 11-15 (73%) from the FT line.

The difference? Offensive rebounding (that resulted in 2nd chance points) and turnovers. Minny got off 8 more FG attempts than Indy mostly because of their +6 offensive rebounding advantage (resulting in 2nd chance points) and a +6 turnover advantage.

And Indy was still within 2 points (100-98) with 2:37 to go in the game.

Fever and Lynx both shot 57%. Fever were 11-24 from 3...Lynx were 11-25. Both teams were 11-15 from the line. Dead even except for the boards and a 12 Fever turnvoers to 6 for the Lynx...but I can live with 12 turnovers against almost anybody.
MN had 11 ORBs (vs Fever 5). I believe most of those ORBs were converted for 2nd chance points, including a couple 3s. There’s your difference maker

Coming into today's game, the Minnesota Lynx were averaging 11,129 fans per home game during the 2026 WNBA regular season.

Today's announced attendance? 16,505, which is 48% more than their season average.

The Caitlin Clark effect.

Phoenix is not a team I heard mentioned as a possible trade destination for plum.

They must either have an idea she wants to sign with them, or want the extra time to try and make a positive impact on her that will sway her decision. They were 27-17 last season, so can't imagine their draft pick being crazy valuable, and the chance of getting Plum for 3 years or so might be worth the risk.

if males want to play in women’s sports, why make the go through the hassle of having to identify as female? Just let them play! No quotas. That would be biased and unfair. Put the best players on the teams and the best 5 on the floor!

Cheryl Reeve said that she played with the boys when she was a kid. There's a huge difference from being a "Tomboy" and being a trans, don't you think? The "Tomboy" girls ordinarily grow out of that unless there's something else going on.

Fever did not deserve a win
So not sure why you say that. You’re playing the best team in the league in a super hostile environment and it’s a 2 pt game late. I’m guessing they would not be unhappy with that. They shot well and only had 12 turnovers. Honestly played about as well as could be expected. 🤷‍♂️

Hull has had a few streaks where defensively she seemed like she was everywhere grabbing rebounds and loose balls, and she's had some hot 3-point shooting streaks.

All that seems like a distant memory. I'm not sure what she's bringing this year, it sure ain't defense.
