I don’t think AB even played 5 minutes. In those 5 min I think only one other player took a shot besides Clark.

Yea.... I mean this is what you are always going to get when no one from the top does anything for the game to be competitive. Which pride or money to the winning team are the only things that can make the game completive.
The NBA at least has freak athletes that can put on a show with some highlight reel dunks in an all-star game.
At the WNBA, when you play no defense in an all-star game, because there is literally ZERO reason to.....you just give up a bunch of layups....
CC made it a little exciting early with some deep bombs. But even then, how many non-consequential logo 3s can you watch just get heaved up?
She can do it all except not travel while doing it.
It wasn't even layups. They were passing up wide open shots underneath the basket to kick it out to Mabrey so she could shoot more 3s.
I watched CC hit her threes early, but the product is garbage so I switched to watching something else before halftime.
I like Plums idea of playing for something to get the game to be more like a regular game that counts in some way such as charities etc.
How about players for winning team get all their technical fouls rescined.
The vast majority of this league has clearly demonstrated that one charity matters more than anything else - themselves. Give the winning team a straight up cash award. That is the only way to make this game less of the farce it proved to be.
