I think it's safe to say that CC, through no fault of her own, has been grossly over-hyped by her fan base and the media. Indeed, she was a great college player but that hasn't translated completely to the W. She's proven to be a good pro but not a great one. Unfortunately, that reality hasn't been accepted by her fan base. Compounding the situation has been the adverse reaction to her by most players in the league. Again, through no fault of her own, they despise the attention she gets and obviously the fact that she makes so much more money than they do through endorsements, etc. CC is acutely aware of all this and that's why I see her playing no more than another year or two.

Yeah, she’s overhyped, bwahahaha.

While true, this didn't start 2 years ago. She was almost as bad at Iowa at times. You don't sit her down and make her watch video of her actions in games and practice because its all good, not to mention bring in a sports psychologist to help her understand how to relate within a team concept (all this done at Iowa) because she handles her emotions well. Look I love all she did at Iowa, (some think I'm an apologist for her) but she really has to get herself under control, if she's going to reach her potential. She's seems a great person off the court, but she's a loose cannon on the court too often, and its not helping herself, her team or her relationship with the refs.

Pretty funny how little she complains when they actually call fouls on players defending her.

The coaching staff must not have wanted to play AB in back-to-back games, so they opted to play her against the Liberty on Saturday. Unfortunately, that means conceding tonight's game.

And probably means Clark doesn't play Saturday. that's what they've been doing is sitting one or the other in these back to back games.

I can't see the Fever sitting Clark against the Liberty at home on a Saturday... especially after tonight's performance. CC got 29 minutes tonight, too, so she must be pretty healthy. Also, after the Liberty game the Fever only play one game in the next ten days.

She was VERY much in control tonight, even when the calls didn't go her way. If she were to play like that every night. she's a top 3-5 player in the league. Of course we weren't talking about tonight earlier were we......
