Most amazing part about this game is that the Fever have seemed to recover from the disastrous loss of Justine Pissott.
Weirdly enough, we won't really know that unless she plays more and proves she doesn't belong on the floor, much like Dantas.......................

In the only game she was really given a chance, she hit 5 threes.

Like her hustle, scrappy defender. She will get a couple big ORBs or loose balls per game. Tends to hurry shots - can get streaky from 3 but long stretches cold too. A+ pre-game fashion game.
There was a several-game stretch during CC's rookie season (I think just after the Olympics break) when Lexi Hull shot an insanely-good % from 3pt. I was going to post that she hasn't been very good this year, but she's still shooting better than CC.

Pretty impressive performance by the Fever tonight. The Aces beat the Mercury by 50 last night.

It's a little ironic considering Vegas has the best player in the world but the Aces might be the "easiest" first round matchup for the Fever in the playoffs.

If Boston isn't in foul trouble she can hold her own against Wilson. CC/Kelsey have more scoring potential than Young/Gray, and the Fever role players while not great are better than LV's.

He career has some crazy #s...her 3PT % her first 2 years was like 20%...then she had the 2024 season where she shot about 47%, and then it's been going down the last 2 years.

A win like this should silence a lot of the doubters, but unfortunately most of the talk will be spun towards Caitlin not shooting perfect from the field, not having zero turnovers, and getting outscored by Sophie and Kelsey (again).
Stephanie White has to have the best job in all of sports…if they win, it’s because of her, if they lose, it’s because of Clark.

Can't remember which game it was exactly a while back (this season), but you could physically see the lack of confidence in her shooting from outside. It just never looked like she was comfortable and confident shooting the ball, often adjusting mid process or hesitating, and sometimes outright passing up open shots.

I'd have to focus on her a little bit more, but she does seem to get bothered by closeouts, and maybe waits in one spot a bit too long. She can also absolutely stand to get better at her catch (hop/set) and shoot, especially if they want to keep relying on her to not be a non-factor offensively.

My guess is though, if nothing changes from now until the end of the season, aside from a myriad of other decisions that could potentially be on the table depending on how the season goes, one of those decisions will be whether or not they want to keep Hull for another year.

Wonder what they could get for her. $785,000 isn't a paltry sum for a team to take on for a player that at this point is struggling.

Nobody is taking Lexi off their hands. Her contract, compared to her production, is exactly the type of one that can’t exist in today’s WNBA. Billings is in the same exact position. These are players that are giving bench-level production, but being paid like the 4th best player on the team.

The salary cap is $7MM. That means you can have three players in the $1-1.4MM range, another in the $750k range and the rest need to be rookie-scale contracts or roughly veteran minimum contracts.

Lexi, even before this season’s slump, is not worth what she’s being paid. She started the season as a backup and finished most of the season as the least important starter. Her and Billings will each be getting paid $800k on guaranteed contracts next season to be effectively replacement-level players taking up starting spots on the roster. Those contracts are going to prevent the Fever from doing both of extending Clark to a max and bringing in another top-flight free agent(or re-signing Mitchell which would be dumb if Clark is really their future).

Barring a major turnaround from Lexi and Billings, next year’s team needs a starting caliber SG, starting caliber PF, starting caliber SF, backup Center, and another bench player. With less than $2MM available to fill those spots if Clark gets the extension she deserves. There won’t be enough money to go around for all 5 of those spots because of the Lexi and Billings contracts. That’s why rookie contracts are so important and the Fever just let one that had potential blow away in the wind so that they could keep bench albatross Dantas.

My source is this thread and I trust the monkey and company more than trolls like you . At least you got a like from Stoopid little tommy. He needed that after crying about Sophie hugging Dana.
Feel free to post all the video evidence of paige getting guarded like Caitlin dumbass.

So letting Pissot walk was even dumber than it first appeared.
