They’re also only 2.5 games from being out of the playoffs. Every team in the league still has a shot at the playoffs because they’re all pretty bad this year.
Boston is shooting 47% from 3pt this season. Raven is shooting 24%.
Points off of turnovers is an empty stat, but yes they turn it over too often and many times in spurts.

Fever are the top scoring WNBA team. They will make the playoffs absent major injuries.
I like how people are still mad that CC waved off guarding Raven. Her shot isn't even close.
It's the same pattern game after game. The Fever look decent early and build a nice lead. Then, the defense vanishes and they collapse.
Yeah, we need to rely more on player efficiency numbers and f***ing win shares. That's the good sh** statistics...... .
Defense sucks. If the Fever would have allowed opponents just one less basket per half so far this season they would currently be in first place, tied with Minnesota.

If it's because Caitlin can't create off the dribble like Kelsey and other players, then Caitlin simply needs to start dribbling around the floor more like Kelsey does.
She doesn't because she's always looking to pass, but she'll never get rid of the shadow defense unless she takes after Kelsey and just constantly dribble dribble dribble around the floor, because apparently that's what keeps you from getting doubled and shadowed like Erica Wheeler did to Caitlin last game.
Where was Wheeler hounding Kelsey last night?
Where was Phoenix's best defender shadowing Kelsey tonight?
Not a goddam thing.
Kelsey also will never turn the ball over when she doesn't pass. She IS quicker with the dribble than Caitlin, but Where would the turnovers come from other than her getting stripped?
Caitlin will have that happen to her occasionally but that's more of a result of her passivity and constantly seeing the floor and losing focus of her shadow (I'm trying to find as derogatory term as I can for the defense she faces 1 on 1 without swearing).
The funny thing about that incident is that Raven had bricked a three a couple minutes earlier. And then when Clark waved her off, even after the entire Iowa team left Raven wide open with as much time as she could possibly want to shoot a three, Raven still didn’t shoot. She instead forced a pass inside that was picked off by Gabbie.
And Raven was the only one from SC that COULD shoot that game....she was 3-6 from 3 and the rest of the team was 1-14.
Of course, Staley fixed that and the next season SC was 3rd in 3PT FG%....but for that one magical night nothing fell for them and it was glorious.
They’re the highest scoring team because they are the worst defensive team…they get more opportunities offensively because teams score so quickly on them.
