Once again you make statements without any actual facts. First you have NO idea what her injury is OR is not, NONE. Second you have no idea what my history is OR is not. NONE. I also never said ONE word about her production, did I. And yet you continue on with your drival. I'm fully aware she had several major injuries last season. This season, hell I don't know, and frankly neither do you. WHAT is her injury this year? This whole "back injury" is as vague as Kirks old "lower leg" injuries. I have no doubt that there may be something, but what? I do know I've NEVER seen a player just walk off the court, (after clearly being pissed at her coach), and look fine, and have the GM and team president get out of their seats and follow the player into the locker room. NEVER seen that, and she hasn't stepped on the court since then. Could she have a real back issue, SURE she could. Given all this time off, and how long this is going on she may have a disc issue. I'm just saying none of us know squat about any of this, and its pretty weird if its that bad that more hasn't come out about it. I'd imagine there are some pretty pissed off Fever fans, (just like last season) as the team slow plays whatever is or is not wrong with her. You are going to start seeing a lot more empty seats at fever games and on the road.
Talk about inferring a lot with no facts. That's pretty much your entire post here.

I didn't say anything about your physical history. Only what I'd be willing to wager on.

This is the exact nature of back injuries. Nagging and tricky. Will feel better one day. But two steps back the next. Most of them simply take a lot of rest.

I haven't seen the footage of the last time CC walked off the court. But unless she is an incredible actress, her movements on the court earlier in the season 100% resembled back issues.

You asked if things seem to be going well for CC. Again, yes, she's produced very well in her minutes.

So you "have no doubt that it must be something", going on with CC's health, but you object to others saying it's a back issue?

Has it not also been declared a back issue by the Fever?

Not sure what more you're expecting here

Are you seriously contending that it is questionable whether or not the Fever would want to pay Clark her salary in order to keep her on the roster until 2030?
No, I’m questioning whether they would pay her the amount they would have to pay to keep her. They would likely have to get rid of Kelsey Mitchell and possibly Boston and I’m not sure they would do that especially if White is still the coach.

Why would they have to get rid of 2 players...wouldn't they all make about the same money?

"Shes produced very well her minutes". But she has a back issue that can keep her out for weeks at a time. Okay, you win dude. Time will tell....

This is not odd at all. GMs are often going to do this when one of their team cornerstones may be hurt.
Except the incident happened after she got pulled, and she looked pissed on the sideline. Turned and walked just fine off the court. Might also be how the GM would react if their cornerstone player just walked off the floor in the middle of the game. For reference to your comment, Clark was hurt multiple last season (visibly hurt) and left the court to the locker room several times the first couple of weeks, and the GM and president didn't follow her into the locker room. Why this time when she walked off just fine and didn't look like she was in pain like several other times?
Probably worth noting most of this league, (including the Fever organization) is a poorly run crap show. Expecting them to handle things like a normal Gm/president would probably isn't realistic.

So you expect me to believe that you know the movements of the GM and/or team president each and every time Clark leaves with a potential injury?

You history of making stuff up on this site greatly hampers your credibility, I hope you realize that,

I wouldn't expect you to believe crap, and you make up stuff you can't back up as well. Do you know what they do or don't do when she's left with an injury? NO. Yet your here saying I'm wrong. Based on what? Your history here of being a condescending know it all based mostly on just what you say like its gospel is just as clear. Oh' "Legend" said. pffff.....

I never said I know what the Fever's GM does when an injury occurs....nor do you....and you don't know what happened this time, either, yet you don't hesitate to make stuff up.

I DO know that a GM or team official going to a locker room to check the status of a potentially injured player IS something that happens, depending on the team/player, so it would not be unique to this situation IF it happened, which we don't know.

Time will tell what?

Because of an injury, CC may not be on the Fever next yr?

Guess I'm still not sure what you're saying

But if they know she’s not goi g to sign with them the following year, they’ll have to trade her so they get something for her.
That's what I'm waiting for. To find out if all this "we got each others back" PR is bullsh$t or not. This will come out when they make her a core player and we see if she stays.

I'm saying time will tell. NO One knows what's truly going on for sure. I've never said I know for sure, but these "day to day injuries" that go on and on are pretty puzzling, and lead to conjecture. If its an injury or something else entirely that's keeping her off the court. I do love your naive act though. Its better then thinking your always right, which is BS and you know it.

Are you not sure CC was hurt earlier in the year as well?

Because agian, she obviously was.

Which makes your questioning now pretty silly, especially given it's been back troubles, which usually linger

Nobody here is SURE of anything. This board is 75% conjecture on most topics. Am I SURE that she is injured currently enough to keep her off the floor for weeks? NO, I'm not. Like I said before, time will tell. Got that part figured out yet?

It seems you watch every game.

So, if you aren't 99% sure CC was hurt earlier in the season, I feel sorry for you

Lolol, save your misplaced sorrow. Did I say she didn't have "an issue" earlier in the year? No I did not. Did she walk off the floor in the first couple of games after she was pretty obviously pissed at White (again) and did both the GM AND team president leave their seats and follow her into the locker room, earlier in the year? No. Is it at all strange that when she walked out during her last game that she didn't come back out at all. Could she have tweeked something? Sure. That bad that she couldn't sit on the bench? I don't know. Do you know? If her injury is such that she can't play for weeks which is going to affect their roster, should the Fever let the fans know? Maybe. I know last season my wife and I took a vacation and spend 4 days in Indy specifically to see her play live. We were fortunate to be there the 2nd day she came back from injury and just a couple of games before she was out for pretty much the rest of the season. She played great. It was the night of the Clark and Sophie vs Mabry and Sheldon scrap in the 2nd half. If she had been injured and not able to play and they knew it, I'd have been pretty pissed to spend the money in Indy knowing she wasn't going to play. From public comments there are quite a few Fever fans who travel to games who feel the same way. Game to game, I get, IF that's really what it is. if she's going to be out for awhile they should let people know. Maybe that's not how its handled for all players in the league, but lets be honest here. Clark is NOT another player in the league when it comes to fans and their expectations of traveling to see HER play. Is there another reason they aren't more forthcoming about her status? I don't know. Do you know?

So you were in the arena during those games?

And this last time when you claimed it happened?

You must go to a lot of Fever games.

Simply answer the question. Do you believe CC to have been hurt earlier in the season?

AGAIN, if the issue carries day-to-day nagging, trickiness, lingering, uncertainty, it's almost always a back, groin, or hamstring. Welcome to sports

If I’m the Fever, I’m not going to pay a super max contract to a player that gets hurt all the time. They should trade her for a variety of reasons.

This POV is bonkers on so many levels …not the least of which is the skyrocketing revenue and organization profit generated by Clark. The Fever would enthusiastically pay her 10X the supermax salary, if they could, in order to retain her, injured or not. Not a close call. And there is no player, or group of players, who could generate even 1/2 the revenue in a trade.

I think you’re giving the Fever front office too much credit….i think they fully believe their revenue is due to their management and not Clark. I also think you’re undervaluing their belief that Kelsey Mitchell is the key to their success and not Clark.

The fever FO knows first hand how much their ticket value and tv market value difference is when Clark is playing in the game vs not playing in the game.

First off I'd didn't say she wasn't, but If a player got pissed after being pulled out of a game and then walked off the court and didn't come back out and all the brass got out of their seats and followed her, (which I ve never seen them do before) what would be another possibility? Refresh my memory. In the game where Clark got in the dust up with White during the time out, and she benched her, did she play in the next game, or was she "injured"?
