Yes, when they had an NIL deal with her, which they no longer do.

She signed with Topps/Fanatics in 2022 and then left for an exclusive deal with Panini in March, 2024.

There were multiple players after Clark got her technical for hitting the stanchion that did the same thing and didn’t get a technical for it. There has also been examples of players clapping and not getting a technical for it. Their lack of consistency seems to revolve around Clark.
Clark doesn’t benefit from freedom of movement calls because she doesn’t get them called for her very often, only against her. In relation to the amount of times she handles the ball, she gets to the line less than any other player.
There’s a good video on YouTube that shows all the flagrant fouls against Clark in her career….the majority of them have not been called, yet she still has more flagrant fouls against her than any other player and some of those weren’t even called fouls on the court. It’s really not even a question that Clark gets called differently than any other player in the league- anyone that knows basketball agrees with that.
Feel sorry for you

Less than half (85 of 180) players voted for all stars.

LA players didn’t even receive ballots.

Kelsey Plum is averaging 23.9 points a game, shooting 52% from the field, and 6.4 assists per game. No guard in the W comes close to those numbers, yet her rank is 5 with the media and 12 on the player vote. That tells everything you need to know about the travesty of a sport's league. An absolute joke.

In 2024, with Caitlin entering the league, the WNBA suddenly got the eye balls it was desperately seeking. Good job, WNBA. We all now see what a sh.itty product you have, the thug players, and how horribly it is run.

Does anyone think the owners of teams for Cleveland (2028), Detroit (2029), and Philadelphia (2030) are a bit nervous right now? Maybe some buyer's remorse? They EACH paid $250 MILLION for their expansion franchise. Earlier expansion fees for teams joining between 2025 and 2026 were significantly lower, ranging from $50M (for Golden State and Toronto) to $75M (for Portland).

I'm sure they're hoping like heck cc doesn't tell the league to shove it where the sun doesn't shine and get out

CC is the one who took the brunt of game 2.

I do not think game 2 would have escalated to that point had Sophie handled gam
Well since you got plenty of time at the nursing home, maybe it's time you take your own advice, get certified and get out there and solve the issue of poor WNBA officiating yourself.......bro.
Maybe eyes should worry about his team looking the other way with AJ Ferrari all season for a few additional points. Surprised such a self righteous guy would root for a team still looking the other way with violent crimes.

But she is over the top in complaining. I still remember her dad yelling at her to shut up and play when she was at Iowa. The truth is if she played at ISU or a rival B1G team, the Iowa forums would have had endless threads hating on her.
The only reason Hawkeye fans defend her constantly is because she’s one of ours. If she played elsewhere we wouldn’t like her.

This league is the Savanah Banana's version of a basketball league. Sudekis should make a mockumentuty about Cathy and the way she runs it.

Clark speaks about AT foul

CC:
“And as I've stood up here and said before, like the harassment, the hate, none of that is okay. That goes for my the opposing team we play, that goes for my teammates, that goes for my coaches. Um you know, there should never be question of character. Like I've always stood up here and said that and that's truly what I believe. That's how I was raised”

Which is totally irrelevant. And actually pretty damn funny considering millions of people, literally across the globe, became fans of her. Not because they gave a **** that she played for Iowa, but because she’s BY FAR the most influential women’s player ever. I guess i don’t understand why they’re defending her.
Oh, and if she didn’t play for Iowa, we would hate her because she would’ve kicked our asses, not because she complained.

Can say that about alot of great players through the years. Same could be said about some politicians

Also it should be noted that no one voted Clark as 11 guard overall. All the players got the same ballot as the fans. Pick 6 front court and 4 back court. They just didn’t put Clark in the top 4.
I'm gonna guess she had the least amount of votes of any of those on the list... kinda why she ended up as the #11..

Right. She was put in the top 4 the least. However, I’m thinking if they did a ranking system similar to say the top 25 polls she’d prob be higher.

Also the vote is bogus since it had such low participation.

Yeah… that’s why we hated Samantha Prahalis.

Who TF is Samantha Prahalis? Yeah, very few probably know, because nobody watched before Caitlin showed up. Same with the W.

Nobody or just you? Tell that to the thousands that have watched Iowa WBB for the last 30 years or more, along with several other college programs. I was watching WBB in the 50s.
