The Fever are giving up a ton of layups so far this season. The defense has to improve or they will end up 2 games over .500 again.

CC took 28 shots and scored 32 points. That's 1.143 points per shot attempt. The rest of the team took 64 shots and scored 70 points. That's 1.094 points per shot attempt.

The Fever outscored the Mystics 93-79 when CC was on the court. The Mystics outscored the Fever 25-9 when CC was on the bench.

I'm not sure CC's 'inefficiency' is the reason the Fever lost.

2nd quarter shooting again not good. Again because teams forcing Fever to play half court. Fever are like an NFL team moving ball up and down the field between 20s but struggling in red zone when field shrinks and not as much space.

CC playing aggressively and efficiently. And with KN being a non factor she has to it appears today.

I saw this explained as since the ball was tipped on the pass it’s not an assist.

Not sure if that’s the true explanation but that seems ridiculous as the ball went to the exact player she intended, not a random NM

That’s the best version of CC. Efficient, dynamic, and still without much support. Especially from KM.

game still closer than it should be. Need to come out strong in. 3q.

Gonna start calling Lexi "Hoover". Sucks up rebounds like a vacuum.

It’s tough to blow a team out when your defense is bad.
Seattle shooting 44 percent. Which to your point doesn’t tell whole story. But could be worse. Fever for most part dictating style of play which will result in some easy baskets by Seattle. I’ll take a repeat of 1st half and a 22 point victory. Which would qualify as a blowout.

True, but if history tells us anything, it’s that the Storm at some point are going to go on a 14-0 run or something like that.
