Tried searching Caitlin's name on Twitter to see if I could find some highlights quickly, and man, the discourse around her has reached unreal levels of toxicity and lies. Honestly, I just can't do it anymore. WNBA fans are the most uneducated, deluded, psychotic, and pathetic subhumans I've ever seen. I simply have no more interest in watching this league, even with Caitlin playing. Goes without saying that the product is awful anyway. But man do they hate this little white girl from Iowa.

Caitlin and Kelsey both shot 9-17, not bad but as mentioned neither we good from three-point range, especially Caitlin ... ouch.

But Caitlin did lead the team in scoring with 24 and had 9 assists. Just hit a couple more and that's a monster game. But, ofc, that's been the hard part it seems for a while now.

Overall a better performance and nice road win.

Don't let the hateful idiots ruin it for you! Just avoid X for any Fever or Caitlin content. Watch highlights somewhere else and don't read the comments. Caitlin, even while struggling from three, still plays a very skillful and entertaining game as she did tonight.

And you are spot on. Ever since Caitlin stepped on a WNBA court there has been jealousy, resentment and outright hatred for the little White girl from Iowa. We all know that. Being straight ain't helping her any either, btw. Raise the slightest objection and, ofc, YOU all of a sudden are the racist. Total projection and propaganda.

Symptomatic of the larger ills in this society, imo, so avoiding the WNBA won't necessarily provide a break from all this enmity and strife. Just have to filter it the best we can. My two cents.

Ya, youtube comments are pretty rough, but easy to avoid. If you search Clark highlights, you're going to get clark highlights.

Reddit has a lot of really hardcore Clark fans that punch air if she's not included on a graphic, and there are equal yet opposite anti-clark fans who are just real sick of her. Most of them are downvoted though and are less likely to be rage engagement bots like on twitter.

And Threads. There’s a guy who goes by “dahveed_corley” who is obsessed with CC at a clinical level. Multiple threads every day trashing her. She could go 25/10/10 and hit the game-winning shot and he would fixate on one time where she got lost on a defensive switch. He tries to present himself as an expert on basketball but he’s clearly just a hardcore racist troll.

And to many on here are also obsessed with her image. And her 3's. 24 and 9 and 9-17 from the field is a really great night for anyone. A road win is always great to get. She's played 2 games and is still clearly getting back into the flow.

It sure seemed like Caitlin sat a lot last night but she did end up with 31 minutes so that's good. Most on the team, fwiw. I understand she got herself her own topnotch trainer so let's hope she can continue on healthy.

All the foul calls didn't bother me, keeping in mind the players will have to adjust eventually. A cleaner game is worth it, imo, and heck, maybe prevent a few injuries as well. All upside to me.

Exactly. Our fans will ***** about anything. For entire year we complained the game was to physical (which it was) and now that they’re cleaning it up they’re complaining there’s to many fouls. Plus for the Fever a cleaner game works to their advantage as both CC and Mitchell will totally benefit from freedom of movement.

And "exactly" right back to you. The Fever don't play the bully-ball game trying to initiate the contact, instead they end up having to absorb it in disproportionate amounts when there is no whistle. It seems Boston over time has tried to be more physical on offense but I don't think that was ever her game to begin with. So a quicker whistle on the defense I think could benefit her natural game too.

I'm old enough to remember the game before its corruption, I'll call it, by this bizarre emphasis on being PHYSICAL!!! Lead the way WNBA, it's a better product. I just hope they keep it up, I'm sure this upsets a lot of the crusty old guard coaches and players who have some loud voices. Stay the course, W!

Well yeah. Name another person in the public eye who gets subjected to online criticism every day. Go ahead. I dare you.
I think CC will survive Twitter, which somehow has come to represent “the truth” and the national narrative when it’s really not representative of anyone who thinks and communicates rationally or with critical thinking. The 3 biggie topics (politics, sports, religion) often outs the most dimwitted and limited among us, and Twitter is a breeding ground for them.It was actually created for them so they feel they have some sort of authority or valid perspective. Throw in race and gender and on and on…
